- LG has released several series of advanced models, which have all the same functions as the LH series models, but either technological innovations or new functions have been added:
- LHG series — a new plasma heat exchanger has been developed, in which there is no corrosion on the surface of the grate.
The main design of the heat exchanger is made of aluminium, which is very convenient on the one hand, since this metal is soft, light, quickly warms up and cools down quickly. But, on the other hand, it is subject to the adverse effects of the external environment. Therefore, not one, but two protective layers are applied to the design of the heat exchanger — first, the Gold Fin anti-corrosion coating, and then a special water-repellent layer. With such a system, the air conditioner will work for many, many years.
LHG modifications are equipped with a PLASMA air purification system. The cleaning filter can be easily washed with water, which allows it to be used repeatedly without frequent replacement.
- LHG series — a new plasma heat exchanger has been developed, in which there is no corrosion on the surface of the grate.
- The LHP series is new in 2004. Models of the LHP series have replaced LHG : the PLASMA filter has been replaced by a new air purification system NANO Plasma, and the LHG series has been discontinued. The new NANO Plasma air filtration system not only removes dust, but also cleans the air from animal hair, pollen and even unpleasant odours. The effect is achieved by powerful air ionization and subsequent partial discharge using a catalyst, as well as by passing air through a nano-carbon filter.
- LHT series — advanced modifications of LHG : additionally, a new way to control the air conditioner has been introduced: now you can use a regular mobile phone for this. And you can not only turn the air conditioner on and off — almost complete control is available to you.
- The LHN series is a series of inventory air conditioners.
The secret of inverter technology is in the continuous operation of the air conditioning compressor and the possibility of smooth regulation of its power. A conventional air conditioner works on the "on / off" principle: reaching a temperature that is 2-3 degrees lower than the set one, it "waits" for the thermometer in the room to reach the desired level (in fact, the temperature also becomes 2-3 degrees higher, than needed), after which it turns off. The regular air conditioner also turns on "late" by several degrees. During such "jumps", stable support of the set temperature is excluded. In addition, frequent switching on / off is harmful to the mechanisms, as it leads to accelerated wear of the equipment. The inverter never shuts down completely — when the set temperature is reached, the compressor slows down. As soon as indoor or outdoor conditions change, the inverter adjusts the temperature almost instantly. According to comparative testing, the inverter start cycle (time to reach the set temperature) is 15% shorter than air conditioners without this function. Paradoxically, by running longer (without shutting down completely), inverters are the most economical systems available. Tests have shown that they consume only 44% of the energy that ordinary air conditioners consume, that is, they are more than twice as economical. - The LHK series is produced in China (this is indicated by the letter "K" in the name of the series), respectively, the LH models (without the letter "K" in the name) are assembled in South Korea.
