Air conditioning is not a luxury in our hot and sometimes cold times, but most likely a necessity. Don't be afraid to buy and use it even if you have small children. Turn it on wisely and don’t let your children into the room where he just worked, they may naturally get sick. We bought this air conditioner model in the spring and were satisfied with the choice and quality. Installation took specialists 2-3 hours. The set was complete, and the length of the tubes was sufficient for installation. A very necessary and useful thing for the home during hot seasons and especially in the transitional heating season when there is no heating yet. It heats the room quite quickly and efficiently, as well as cools. We installed it in the largest room, and the power is sufficient for it. We leave the doors open, and the cold or heat spreads to other rooms. A very convenient and useful feature is turning on and off at a set time. We have a small child, and we use the air conditioner when the child is sleeping or playing outside. We set the time to turn on and off and go for a walk peacefully, and it will turn off by itself when coming home. I always set it to 18 °C in cooling mode, and there are no causes of illness from it. Our apartment is insulated, and when we come home from the summer heat, the temperature in the room does not rise above 23-26 °C. The air conditioner also works at night and any time when no one is home. The useful function of ventilation (fan) is available. When it's not too hot in the room, you can turn it on, and it will work as a simple fan. We barely use the ionizer function. The noise becomes noticeable if you set the fan power to maximum strength. The remote control and menu are fairly simple, and both children and elderly people can easily use it. I am 100% satisfied with the assembly and quality. I can't call it a drawback, but it cannot go unmentioned – the power cord is very short, which had to be extended because the distance to the outlet is very large, and its length is not even enough to reach the floor. Very little adjustment for air flow to the sides. Cooling does not occur immediately, but after 2-3 minutes. First, the fan turns on, then after some time the compressor, which starts circulating the refrigerant through the system. The filters and outdoor unit need to be cleaned and washed too often from fluff – we have very dusty air, as we live near a road, but we just have to put up with it, as there is no other solution except to change apartments. A simple model, no complaints, but not that expensive either. It’s easy to use and seems to be well made, at least it didn’t break for me. There are nuances, but everything is more or less solvable. High-quality assembly, unobtrusive appearance. What was especially exciting and what pleased me in principle was the absence of loud noise, it works almost silently, a slight hum can be distinguished but nothing more. The cost is quite reasonable, one might say even a budget option. I usually keep the temperature at 25-23 degrees, rarely lower it, it cools quickly, even in the next room where there is no air conditioning, the conditions are evened out. There is an ionization function, although I don’t use it, I forget all the time, there is a filter against unpleasant odors, which is very important, since I live right next to a large avenue and the smell, smoke and dust are present. It’s easy to install; the technician installed it for me in just an hour. The remote control is clear, I didn’t even read the instructions, everything is intuitive. There is no flow adjustment, that is, if you want to adjust something, then cardboard boxes, tape, and your own hands can help. This had to be done for a while, when a rearrangement was invented and it turned out that the table was standing directly under the air conditioner. At the same time, it blows directly into the neck and there is no way to turn the curtain, or rather, you can turn it a little, but to such a minimum that it still blows in the same direction. I bought this air conditioner in my private house, with the expectation that it will cool three adjacent rooms with a total area of 37 square meters. Experience has shown that the idea was not entirely correct, but in general it has the right to life and practical implementation. The room in which the air conditioner hung was a little overcooled, but since it was a walk-through, this did not become a serious problem. Intensively cools and no less quickly heats the air in the rooms. The Jet Cool function helps to thoroughly bring down the temperature in just 15-20 minutes. True, not without noise. In modes with a lower fan speed, with good cooling, the noise decreases and almost disappears at the minimum. You can sleep with the air conditioner in the next room without any problems. I also liked the heating, it gives a lot of pleasant dry heat. It can work even at negative temperatures down to -5. But I did not try it in practice. This model does not have crankcase heating, which means there is nothing to mock him. Allows you to make long communications between the indoor and outdoor unit. Their maximum length can be 20 meters, and this helped to bring the outdoor unit to the roof of the house, where its noise does not bother anyone. There is a built-in ionizer that refreshes the air, and its work is felt. Economical, like all modern inverter models. A good remote control, but they obviously saved on the screen size. During prolonged operation, quiet clicks and crackles are sometimes heard in the indoor unit. It seems that this is due to thermal deformation of the case plastic. Coolness in Korean
One of the best split systems in its price range. It has a lot of useful functions, the main of which are an ionizer and an inverter. The manufacturer claims convenient and quick installation and customer reviews confirm this, in general. The track length of 15 metres allows you to place the indoor unit even on the opposite wall of the room from the window.
The S-09SWC has a Plasmaster filter system, which includes an antibacterial, deodorizing and auto-cleaning filter.
At low power, the split works very quietly, while the volume of the indoor unit is only 19 dB, not louder than the rustle of leaves, but at maximum power it makes decent noise, by as much as 39 dB. But in turbo mode, the room cools much faster, for which you can endure 5-10 minutes.
Many users will be pleased with the drying mode, which removes almost a liter of moisture from the air per hour of operation.
In heating mode, the split works with a temperature of at least minus five, so it is not suitable for a cold winter. But for late spring and chilly damp autumn it will be just right.
Among the shortcomings, the owners note the large dimensions of the indoor unit, as well as the small angle of horizontal adjustment of the air direction curtains. Well, the price, of course, is a bit too big, for the sake of the brand and the dollar).
