The automatic tonometer by Longevita belongs to the middle price segment and ensures ease and comfort of use. The pressure is measured at the stage of pumping air into the cuff, making the process easy and fast - the procedure lasts about 30 seconds. To measure, a person just needs to correctly fix the cuff on the shoulder and press one button. The cuff itself is made of hypoallergenic synthetic materials and does not irritate the skin, and due to the girth from 22 to 42 cm, it is securely fixed on the arm of both a child and an adult.

If the arm moves during the measurement, the system notifies about it, since this may cause inaccurate results. If the cuff is positioned incorrectly or is fixed too loosely on the shoulder, the indicator will also notify about it. The tonometer is able to determine systolic and diastolic pressure, pulse and arrhythmia - if an irregular heartbeat is detected, the device will warn about it.

Longevita DBP-6179 calculates the average value of the last three measurements so that the user has a more complete picture of his health. The system is capable of storing data for two different users — 150 previous measurement data for each. A clear LCD display with three-color backlighting and large font displays full information about the measurement results, including the date and time of the last procedures.

Such a “diary” will be useful not only for the patient, but also for the attending physician. In addition, the color scale shows whether the indicators correspond to the latest recommendations of the World Health Organization for blood pressure classification. Useful functions also include a battery level indicator, automatic device shutdown upon completion of the procedure, and a convenient stand for placing the device.
