Universal electric rotary hammer with SDS Plus chuck and mains supply. Belongs to the class of light professional power tools designed to perform a significant amount of assembly and dismantling and construction work. Positioned as a product of the middle price category, it has a traditional layout with a horizontal engine, relatively compact dimensions and low weight (2.8 kg).
It features good ergonomics, which is ensured by the correct weight distribution and comfortable handles with dense rubber pads. The Makita HR2630 rotary hammer is equipped with a reliable 800 W electric motor, protected from abrasive dust, working in conjunction with a steel gearbox and a durable impact mechanism. The tool can work in three different modes: chiseling (the so-called demolition hammer mode), impact and conventional drilling.
The main operating mode of the perforator is drilling with impact, and the impact energy of 2.4 J is enough to create holes with a diameter of up to 26 mm in high-strength concrete, artificial and natural stone, brick and other hard mineral materials. Drills metal, wood and polymeric materials without problems. Electronic chuck speed control is supported. A reverse and a disengaging clutch is provided, which is triggered when the drill is jammed.

Great working tool, with excellent reliability. Bought for repair work, and operated mainly in heavy dust and complex materials. Firstly, it is well-assembled, and the materials are strong enough not to break on impact. I didn't drop it much. but it happened a couple of times. The kit included drills, a chisel and a pick. I still use some drills, some of them either remained in the reinforcement or were ground off, as was the case with a chisel. Never failed. It's nice to drill concrete, at the moments of maximum load, it adjusts itself and changes the frequency, preventing overheating (it seems to me). In addition to the drills, there was also a pen. Very handy thing, especially when working on the ceiling. Once saved me from scrolling due to a drill stuck in concrete. I had to buy an additional cartridge, since the crowns mostly go on the clamp itself. There are no problems in terms of power, there has never been something that has not been drilled. In general, a very reliable tool, not afraid of dust, works regularly, under heavy loads. I recommend it as a reliable rotary hammer for all tasks. Reliable, without nuances in work. Quality build and materials. Good drills included. Convenient durable case. Worked well in dust and dirt. Probably nothing, except perhaps the lack of a second cartridge in the kit.
