Ultra-light electric hand trimmer (motor scythe) with a lower engine, telescopic rod and battery power. The manufacturer is positioned as a product of the middle price category, focused on mowing grass and fighting young weeds in a small house adjoining or garden area (up to 500 m²). Thanks to the use of rechargeable Makita CXT 10.8V lithium-ion batteries (not included, sold separately), this tool is completely independent of household power, does not require fuel and does not create toxic exhaust fumes.
Light weight (1.9 kg without battery), modest overall dimensions and the lower location of the electric motor make it a great helper for an amateur gardener. Despite the modest electrical power, the Makita UR 100DZ trimmer can quickly and efficiently remove grass in the immediate vicinity of the walls of buildings, various structures, fences, fences, curbs and supports. Able to clean up around tree boots or cultivated shrub plantings. The speed of rotation of the rotor of the electric motor reaches 10,000 rpm, and a trimmer head with automatic feeding of high-strength polyamide fishing line with a diameter of 1.65 mm is used as a working body. The most important element of the design is a telescopic aluminium rod with a D-shaped handle, the angle of which can be adjusted.
