A relatively inexpensive 27-inch gaming monitor from MSI has joined the 2022 Optix lineup. The model is able to interest both undemanding gamers and those who are interested in a solution with high-quality color reproduction (for example, amateur designers). So, a pseudo 10-bit (8 bit + FRC) IPS matrix is used here, for which an excellent color gamut is declared (136% coverage of sRGB space and 98% - DCI P3).

For dedicated gaming enthusiasts, the MSI Optix MAG273 monitor offers fast response (1ms gray to gray), good frame rate (144 Hz), support for both AMD FreeSync synchronization technology and popular gaming options such as Night Vision (brightens dark areas of the scene ). Otherwise, the image on the screen is characterized by moderate detail (Full HD resolution with a pixel size of 0.31 mm), basic values of contrast (1000:1) and brightness (250 nits). Another characteristic gaming (and design) feature is RGB lighting with Mystic Light Sync. Other features include a pair of USB ports for convenient connection of peripherals, the presence of two HDMI 2.0 and backlight without flicker harmful to the eyes (Flicker-Free).

miraculous model, already vouchsafed

Overall, I recommend it for purchase! However, Full HD on 27 inches is quite noticeable because you can see the pixels. The brightness is good. After switching from 60 Hz to 144 Hz, you quickly get used to it and don't want to go back. For 144 Hz, a standard HDMI cable (included) will work, as well as a Display Port 1.2 cable (which you will need to purchase separately). There are also many presets to adjust the monitor to your needs so your eyes don't get tired. On an AMD graphics card, FreeSync works excellently, and you can forget about the workaround called "vertical synchronization," it's a good thing. Conclusion: if the visible pixels don't bother you, the monitor will not disappoint you!
