Although this camera belongs to fairly advanced models in general (for example, its “hardware” is almost identical to the D4, the flagship of early 2012), its main feature is still the design: it largely copies the appearance of Nikon film cameras, including a number of mechanical control dials. The matrix of the device has a full frame format and a resolution of 16.2 megapixels, and its standard sensitivity can reach ISO 12,800. The EXPEED 3 processor provides burst shooting at 5.5 fps, but there is no video recording function. Also worth noting is the dust and moisture-resistant magnesium alloy case, 3.2" tempered glass display and support for WU-1b Wi-Fi modules.

Камера для души. Возьмите в руки, подержите. Если она Ваша - Вы поймете.

В ноябре будет год, как я на неё снимаю. У меня (с дочкой) ещё D7100 и D610. После DF мне не удобно ничем работать. Я точно знаю, где и что нужно подкрутить, переключить, чтобы получить нужный кадр. Отсутствие режима авто - это ОБАЛДЕННО! Камера заставляет думать. А 16 мегапикселей заставляют думать о выборе экспозиции, потому что откадрировать уже проблема. Часто снимаю с мануальными стеклами. Выбирал долго, больше трех месяцев. Ни разу не пожалел (пока) о выборе.
Матрица от D4. Тёплая, с рабочим высоким ISO. Феноменальное удобство в использовании имея опыт работы в "доцифровую" эпоху. Совместимость со старыми мануальными стеклами. Шикарный внешний вид.
Хват всё таки не удобный. Для включения нужно две руки - поворотник довольно тугой. На других Никонах всё включается одним клацем указательного пальца. Фокусировка иногда мажет когда нужно "схватить" быстрый кадр. Одна карточка памяти. Аккум мог бы быть объемнее. Китовый объектив слабоват, если честно.

фотоапорат не для новичков а достойная модель для тех то любит фотографию и огромный плюс нет видео что делает его фотоапоратом в своей классике
компатный, удобно брать с собой. нет авто режима. все находится под рукой. нет штатной вспышки и это плюс. хорошо работает в различных погодных условиях. хорощее разрешение картини
промахи по фоусу на шираом угле. неудобный хват и немогу подобрать кистевой ремень

There is a small "but"...

If you can imagine a true digital mirror SLR camera, then it's definitely the Nikon Df (in any version). The classic design and build quality are simply unmatched. The inscription "Made in Japan" proudly adorns the nameplate. As of the end of 2016, it ranks in the Top 5 (according to DxO) of the world's most low-noise and light-sensitive cameras. Yes, those "fat" pixels get the job done.
A decent dynamic range up to ISO 1600, no gimmicks like video and GPS (I approve).
The kit lens is one of the best (among kit lenses) - I can responsibly say as someone who has tried a lot of different optics.
I see no point in writing about parameters and numbers. In this camera EVERYTHING IS AS IT SHOULD BE, and those with eyes will see.
I'll say it right away - I'm very demanding when it comes to equipment, and most photographers wouldn't even notice the shortcomings I've described.

So, the main flaw is ergonomics. The aperture adjustment wheel is stiff and located in an inconvenient place, you can't turn it with one finger.

In my unit, the exposure compensation wheel has glitches with the lock (at certain settings, it turns without pressing the lock button) - it very much seems like a manufacturing defect... It's frustrating.

In low light, focusing is off by a couple of centimeters.

This camera is not a champion in energy saving - the battery lasts for 1000-1500 shots, so try not to overuse the LiveView mode.

There's no slot for a second memory card.

The auto white balance is not perfect - use a "gray card".
