An excellent lens. I won’t describe all the advantages; there are so many rave reviews. I’ll just say it’s sharp from an open hole. At f 2.2 the sharpness is simply shocking, super. Focus can be said to be instantaneous in normal lighting. It's worse at dusk. The video is excellent, the sharpness is excellent. The crop factor of Micro 4/3 cameras is two. Accordingly, the equivalent focal length of an Olympus 25mm prime is 50mm, which is very close to the field of view of human eyes.
Quality build
Despite the plastic housing, the lens boasts a high-quality Japanese assembly — nothing creaks or backlash during operation. The bayonet mount is made of metal, which adds to its reliability in case of frequent change of optics. Of the controls on the body, only a large focus ring is available, which has a smooth and responsive ride.
Optical design

Sharp as a razor
