The model of the well-known manufacturer of household appliances and electronics Panasonic, although it is not cheap, is made to last: a classic design, the case is made of plastic, but it is strong, durable and does not heat up, a special non-stick carbon coating of the inner flask to improve the quality of drinking water and easy cleaning. They did not forget about the marketing move — the inscription "VIP Heating" on the box. In fact, this is a vacuum insulating panel (Vacuum Insulation Panel), which keeps the water at a high temperature for a long time without heating and thus saves energy. Indeed, after boiling, the temperature does not drop below 80 – 90 degrees for several hours, and after that the heating is turned on.
Timer and temperature modes
The volume of the thermopot is 3 liters, on the case there is a scale with a level display. It is clearly visible thanks to the red ball that floats on the surface. If it is not visible, then the water level has exceeded the established norm.
There are four temperature modes to choose from: 70, 80, 90 and 98 degrees with the traditional temperature maintenance function for thermo pots. Re-boil and long boil mode are also available: the water will boil for about 6 minutes, which, according to the manufacturer, reduces the chlorine content by about 80%. There is a timer to save time, because it takes about 25 minutes to boil water. The timer can be set from 4 to 10 hours — after this time, boiling water for tea or coffee will be waiting for you.
The control is carried out using buttons with indication, the selected temperature or timer time is displayed on the display. There is a separate self-cleaning mode: to get rid of plaque, pour water into the container and add citric acid — the thermopot will do the rest.
Water supply
There are two ways to pour water: a manual pump, which is blocked if desired, and automatically, using a button. Moreover, the second method provides two options: regular and drip (slow feed) for brewing coffee.
