I bought the memory a couple of years ago, but it is still relevant today. If you need a good workhorse, this is what you need. I am attaching a photo with settings for the frequency of 3600 for anyone who needs it, it works fine for me at these settings, if it doesn’t start for you, then it’s a problem with the motherboard. Runs great!!! 3800 is easy, but optimal for most 3600 processors (I have a Ryzon 5600x), it is at this frequency that the timings are optimal. Not a high price for such potential. no backlight =) |
Pay attention to CHIPS!. If you take 3200 - 3 options and several sub-options may come.
1 - Samsung chips, which is VERY RARE for this model (3200 MHz exactly). If you take a higher frequency, then all your 3600s will be with normal chips. 2. Hynix or micron, I don't know and don't remember what the others wrote here. I can't say anything, just average chips. Should take 3466, I think 3. If the chips are "hiring technology" - do not rush to swear and break the RAM out of hatred. On the Internet they write that it is this RAM that takes both 3600 and nothing (haha, classic). There is a complete overclocking guide for 3600. BUT this guide did not help me in any way (yes, I came across this RAM). I had the worst variant of chips. They did not take 3200, although they should from the box. Timings, with the help of xmr, were not adjusted. That is, 3200 with AUTO time. were failures. A bunch of errors flew and everything was bad at all. Only 3000 sl18 were stable, if I'm not mistaken. Timings also did not turn out much due to errors IF YOUR RAM DOES NOT DURING THE DECLARED FREQUENCY - RETURN IT AND DEMAND A REPLACEMENT FOR A GOOD one. This should be treated in the same way as a warranty case, so don't be too hasty. But it is very desirable to check, overclock to the maximum and correct the timings within 2 weeks. It is not necessary to chase the frequency, you can take 3466 if the RAM allows. Timings try not to go higher than sl18 (I think this is a reasonable maximum, but this is what I think) Cheapness, a chance to buy good trims, beauty and height adjustment (you can unscrew the radiators) Not all RAM with a frequency of 3200 can take its declared frequency. And I'm not the only one. Be careful.
