Introduced in the fall of 2021, the Philco brand electric dryer represents the middle price segment and is positioned as an all-purpose food dehydrator. The device will allow you to dry vegetables and fruits, mushrooms, greens and herbs, bread, as well as fish, poultry or meat. 8 transparent pallets made of safe plastic (BPA-free) are offered for placing food. The Philco PHFD 5080 fruit dryer received a 400-watt heating element and a powerful fan responsible for even heat distribution.

These components are located at the bottom of the case, and the base itself is made of stainless steel. Here at the bottom are the controls — a rotary switch, buttons and a small display that shows the selected operating temperature (range from 35 to 70 °C) and a countdown timer (drying time can be from 1 to 48 hours). The characteristic features of the model include the presence of a thermostat that maintains accurate temperature conditions, an overheating protection function and simple maintenance and operation: the trays are easily cleaned of dirt, and the device itself does not take up much space during storage.
