It's time for our baby to try something other than breast milk, and initially, my wife tried to manually puree all the food. She lasted a week, after which I sat down at the laptop to pick a good branded blender for this task. Philips came to the rescue this time. I liked the specifications of model HR 1646, and in real life, that is, in actual use, it turned out to be even better. Its first task was to grind food for our little one, and it handled it brilliantly. The small 300-milliliter chopper was just right for processing small portions of meat, curd, vegetables, and fruits. In a larger chopper, a lot would simply smear against the walls. The speed with which this blender destroys pieces of food, turning them into a homogeneous pulp, is simply amazing. The 700-watt electric motor handles any load with ease. The set also includes a large measuring cup, more than a liter, in which you can also whip or mix, and a mixer attachment. My wife used the mixer a couple of times to whip egg whites into foam for meringue pastries. Everything went smoothly and quickly. There are three speeds, but no turbo mode. Externally, the blender and the accompanying utensils with attachments look solid and even beautiful. It is well assembled and made from good materials. The stainless steel is well polished, has no sharp edges, and the plastic is high quality, odorless, and thick enough to withstand stresses. Made in the EU (Hungary) and comes with a 24-month official warranty. In my opinion, it's a bit expensive. When we used the grinder for tasks not related to making baby food, it became clear that 300 ml is a bit small. i recommend it should buy |
