I've been familiar with Philips home appliances for a long time, and not just by hearsay. Way back in 1999, with my first paycheck, I bought my very first gadget—a cassette audio player (at that time, the word "gadget" wasn't even around, but that's essentially what it was). After that, I got a Philips TV, a food processor of that brand, their iron, and even a hair clipper, which I now use to groom my little grandchildren. It's always been good and reliable equipment, worth the money paid for it. And the prices, compared to competitors, have never been sky-high; I'd call them reasonable. A cool centrifugal juicer with a powerful motor. Thanks to it, you can extract juice from almost anything. It has two speeds, allowing you to choose the right speed depending on how dense and hard the product is. However, it's generally advisable not to overuse the second, higher speed. It has a large feed chute, probably outshining all competitors in this regard. As for the quality and consistency of the juices obtained, everything comes out in the best form. It's easy to clean. Traditionally for Philips, there is a long two-year warranty. So expensive (( On the second speed, the engine RPM is very high, causing it to noticeably heat up. Because of this, longer breaks in operation are necessary. Also, my son says it's unsafe for the engine and even though it has overheating protection, running at full speed depletes its lifespan faster. |
I bought the juicer 1922, and it's incredibly bad. The thing is, it produces juice only with pulp, but there is no mention of this in the product description. I need only pure juice without pulp. It is not eligible for return. Don't buy a "PIG IN A POKE". What kind of dignity can we talk about when she distills the juice only with pulp? It was necessary to write everything about 1922 in the description. |
For a very long time I was choosing to replace the old Scarlet, whose drain spout was broken. I also looked at screw options. But I didn’t like the latter for many reasons - it’s slow work, the juice only contains pulp, almost puree, it takes a long time to wash, and in general the concept of getting juice itself. Although auger ones have a plus - there is no foam. But when I saw Phillips, all doubts disappeared like smoke. I liked the design (very simple and reliable), my own know-how with an inverted sieve (the cake is only where it belongs and does not stick anywhere else), it is super easy to disassemble and clean, and finally it is simply beautiful, it is a masterpiece in the world of household appliances)). It is very important to choose the right spin speed for each product, then the result will be good. The first time I squeezed carrots at first speed - the juice was clear, but the pulp was very wet, in which about 20% of the juice remained. On the second - there is more yield, very little pulp and absolutely dry cake. The principle is simple - soft products for the first speed, hard ones for the second. For example, I press apples, oranges, kiwis, berries, etc. on the first, carrots, pumpkin, beets, etc. on the second. The result is great. Everything is washed in a couple of minutes, the sieve can generally only be washed with a sponge, the cake does not get stuck in it. I don’t dry it, I immediately wipe it with a paper towel and collect it. Some write that the juice from centrifugal juicers is supposedly more acidic. I didn’t notice this, the juice comes out sweet from sweet apples. During operation, the device does not wobble or jump on the table. Very pleased with the purchase! The quality of the product, ease of care, powerful and beautiful of course, a carafe with a foam separator included, relatively quiet (compared to my Scarlet). The price is steep, but it's worth it. ![]() |
The range of advanced kitchen appliances from the Dutch brand Philips is named the Avance Collection. One of the prominent representatives of the family is the powerful Philips HR 1922 juicer, which is capable of extracting juice from vegetables and fruits regardless of their hardness.
Powerful Motor
In the centrifugal juicer category, the model has claimed the top position. Its leadership qualities are highlighted by its high performance and juice extraction efficiency. The device's electric motor has a sufficient power reserve (1200 W) to process various types of ingredients, whether they are fibrous citrus fruits or hard carrots. Moreover, you can place them whole into the juicer — the diameter of the fruit and vegetable loading opening is a full 80 mm.
Useful "Features"
In addition to the two-speed switch for operating modes, the model is equipped with a button to select the desired juice consistency — from a clear drink to a thick one containing pulp at about 50%. Among other useful features on board the device is the pre-cleaning function. It allows you to rinse the internal parts of the device from pulp particles without having to disassemble the entire structure between processing different raw materials. To implement this function, you simply need to pour water into the pusher.
Leader
The brand's reputation, the model's functionality, and its quiet operation (considering the high-power motor) present the juicer as a best-seller. The only possible downside for potential owners might be the device's price tag. But in this case, there are good reasons to pay extra, and the juicer will find its buyer among all segments of the population.
