But now I know that I have a device in my kitchen cabinet that I can always rely on. The name Philips is in itself a mark of quality. At home, we have a Philips iron, toaster, and hair clipper that have been working for years. They have proven themselves excellently, and the blender supports this worthy reputation. It whips up lightning-fast and quickly chops almost any product. Cream soup? Please! Chop meat or nuts? Be my guest! And do you know how delicious the mayonnaise it makes? Amazing! It’s very powerful, and no matter what it does, the engine's sound hardly changes. I also liked the button with a built-in speed regulator: the more you press it, the faster the blades spin. Fully equipped – it comes with two choppers (big and small), a measuring cup (which can also be used for whipping), and a whisk for cream or mixing. The price is quite high, and we spent noticeably more than we intended. My husband says that the titanium-coated knives, which according to advertising claims are six times sharper than regular steel ones, are just marketing hype. Yes, the knives are sharp, normally sharp, there's no special super sharpness. You can touch them with a finger and it won't cut to the bone, but you need to do it very carefully. )) |
All virtues pale in comparison to the shortcomings. Maybe I'm unlucky? I bought a blender in July. I only use it on weekends. This is the second time the attachment for the large bowl has broken. In an empty bowl, it spins the blade. But as soon as you put even a small piece of the softest product in the bowl for chopping, the attachment starts making a squealing noise, and the blade doesn't spin.
