An electric hair straightening comb for home use, marketed by a popular home appliance manufacturer, the Dutch brand Philips. The heating elements of the device are covered with tourmaline, which during operation additionally saturates the hair with oxygen ions and makes them healthier, smoother and more manageable. For different haircuts
A straightening brush is best for hair below the shoulders, but it can also be used for owners of a short haircut: for more effective styling, use a regular flat iron on the tips. But it is not suitable for short bangs.
The device is designed to work with dry hair, that is, a hair dryer is needed to pair with it. Handles with both fluffy and thick hair, and even with creases from elastic bands or hairpins.
Two modes
The device heats up in just 50 seconds, the LED indicator indicates readiness for operation. There are two temperature settings to choose from: 200 degrees for normal hair and 170 degrees for thin and weakened. With triple bristles of different lengths, the brush does not burn the scalp, and the tourmaline ceramic coating prevents excessive moisture loss. As a result, the hair is smooth, shiny, does not fluff and is not electrified, while maintaining volume. This is also indicated by numerous reviews, but it is still better to use products with thermal protection.
Thanks to the large rectangular base, straightening takes less time than using a flat iron: just a few minutes for short hair and 5 to 10 minutes for long, thick hair.
Convenience and practicality
The rectifier works from the mains, the cord is quite long (1.8 m), spins and has a loop for hanging on a hook. Unlike a regular comb, the brush is quite heavy (500 g), so the hand gets tired after prolonged use. After 60 minutes of continuous use, the device automatically turns off, so you don't have to worry about a fire on your way to work.
