PowerColor Radeon RX 7600 Fighter (RX 7600 8G-F)

A compact entry-level graphics card from PowerColor, built on the advanced RDNA 3 architecture, which was introduced in 2023. It serves as a high-tech replacement for the previous entry-level Radeon GPUs―RX 6600 and RX 6600 XT. The primary purpose is to meet the needs of gamers who prefer gaming at 1080p resolution. It can also handle games at 1440p resolution; however, due to its limited memory size of 8 GB, users might need to reduce graphics settings and deal with some small stutters and lags.

According to gaming and synthetic tests, the KCH 7600 surpasses its direct predecessor, the Radeon RX 6600: depending on the game, DirectX version, and graphics settings, the performance difference can reach up to 30%. Therefore, it is more appropriately considered a replacement for more powerful GPUs of the previous generation―RX 6600 XT and RX 6650 XT. It is part of the Fighter lineup, in which PowerColor engineers focus not on appearance but on cooling quality and additional features.

It is based on the Navi 33 XL chip with 33 RDNA 3 compute units and 2048 stream processors. The GPU operates at a frequency of 2655 MHz. The GDDR6 memory volume is 8 GB, with the memory running at 18000 MHz, and the maximum memory bandwidth reaching 288 GB/s. The modification from PowerColor generally corresponds to the reference version from AMD/Radeon: a relatively small PCB is covered with a standard dual-slot cooling system featuring a pair of fans, a copper base, and a set of heat pipes.

Thanks to this, it is ideally suited for compact gaming builds where giant two-kilogram NVIDIA RTX graphics cards do not fit. Meanwhile, the RX 7600 consumes around 170 W and requires only one 8-pin connector connected to a 550 W power supply unit. In addition, it is equipped with 4 video ports (one HDMI 2.1 + three DisplayPort 1.4) and supports AV-1 specifications, making it appealing to video editors, streamers, bloggers, and other video content creators.
