I've used in-ear headphones for music and gaming all my life. Apart from insufficient volume, I've never had any complaints about them. The price range was approximately 250 - 350 UAH. I had Sony, Edifier, Pioneer. And something got into me to buy full-size so-called "gaming" headphones. I took my time choosing, watched reviews. I specifically chose a model with deep cups so they wouldn't press on my ears and without a protruding microphone, since I don't use it. Anticipating the immersion in games and music, I put on these headphones and realized I just wasted my money. My in-ear headphones had a clear, bassy sound, and I barely felt them, whereas here, I was met with music sounding like "from a barrel." Instead of low frequencies, there was a kind of droning that pressed on my brain. High frequencies were almost non-existent. After 10 minutes of wearing the headphones, my face started to feel hot, and I got warm from the cups pressing against my head. I immediately wanted to take them off and get some fresh air. I have been using headphones for 2 years every day, games, movies, etc. Personally, I really like it. Convenience, quality (they fell 5 times from the table, nothing broke), the volume knob for two years everything also works fine. The sound quality is 8/10 in my opinion. Long soft wire. The microphone is not very sensitive 7/10 - you need to speak normally (if you speak quietly, the interlocutor will not hear well, for example at night) if you want to increase the sensitivity, then you need to go to the PC settings.
