The claimed battery capacity is 2500 mAh. This is slightly less than the capacity of an average smartphone with a 3000-3300 mAh battery. However, the real power (it is also called effective) will be somewhere in 70% of this figure. This is the average result for all external batteries.

Compact size

Therefore, the main purpose of the Remax Shell 2500 is to appear out of nowhere and use the good old microUSB cable to recharge an unexpectedly dead smartphone. For recharging larger gadgets like tablets and SLR cameras, 2500 mAh will not be enough.

This shortcoming gives rise to another advantage: Remax Shell 2500 charges fairly quickly. Depending on the power source, charging from 0 to 100% takes about 2 hours. A laptop will last longer. However, this is already a problem with laptops.

As an alternative for women, Remax released almost the same battery. But instead of a cartridge, it has the shape of a lipstick, the body is made of plastic and aluminium, and the battery capacity is slightly less — 2400 mAh.
