The robot vacuum cleaner from the large community of Xiaomi gadgets simplifies the life of its owner as much as possible, since it not only cleans the house itself, but also empties its dust container on its own. The capacity of the container is 0.3 liters, which is quite a common indicator for such devices. Usually it needs to be cleaned after each cleaning, but thanks to the self-cleaning function, the model saves you from this routine work.
The kit comes with a garbage receptacle with 3 liter bags, where the vacuum cleaner automatically unloads the accumulated rubbish. As a result, for several weeks you can forget about the need to clean, and the indicator will tell you when the bag is full. In addition, Xiaomi Roidmi EVE Plus can both vacuum and mop the floor at the same time: while the turbo brush and two side whisks collect debris from carpets, floors and along walls, the system supplies water from a 0.25 L tank to a microfibre cloth.
She, of course, will not master strong pollution, but she will cope with superficial wet cleaning. At the same time, a powerful engine provides a suction force of 2700 Pa. One battery charge with a capacity of 5.2 Ah is enough to clean an area of about 250 square metres, but everything, of course, depends on the power, since the device offers several operating modes, including turbo.
The robot also has a whole set of sensors and a laser rangefinder that are responsible for building maps, choosing the best route and detecting obstacles. And the control takes place using voice assistants or through an application on a smartphone: you can set a cleaning schedule, select a mode, set virtual boundaries, monitor the charge level and control the fullness of the dust collector.

Proprietary garbage sterilization system
The young Chinese company Roidimi, which specializes in the production of intelligent household cleaning appliances, is a junior partner of Xiaomi, which implements the Mi Ecosystem home ecosystem strategy. The Roidmi EVE Plus multifunctional robot vacuum cleaner with a mop is designed for everyday dry and wet cleaning. The presence of the word Plus in the marking of the model hints that the device consists of a mobile cleaning module, supplemented by a stationary docking station for charging the vacuum cleaner and receiving the collected garbage in a container with a disposable 3-liter bag. Thanks to the proprietary deodorizing ion sterilization system, the contents can be stored in a bag without mold and odour for a month.
4th Generation LDS Laser Navigation System
The device is equipped with the original LDS laser navigation system with 4th generation lidar, which makes the mapping process faster and more accurate. Building the optimal route of movement significantly reduces the time of cleaning and saves the charge of the built-in battery. Up to 5 maps of different rooms can be stored in the memory of the vacuum cleaner, which makes it an effective cleaner in a large house. The model received an air purification unit with a washable HEPA class filter. The robot is equipped with 2 side brushes and a powerful turbo brush for dry cleaning, as well as a microfibre cloth for wiping up spilled liquid. In this device, water is supplied to the napkin through the openings of the platform, where it comes from a water tank (250 mL) located in the housing. To protect the device from scratches, a rubber bumper pad is provided on the case. The laser head-navigator is also a button to stop the vacuum cleaner if it encounters an impassable obstacle on the way. Approximate cleaning area from one battery charge is about 250 m2.
Base station with display
The base station with a power of 850 W is equipped with a convenient informative display with touch buttons. The robot can be controlled using the buttons on the vacuum cleaner body or from a smartphone via the Internet using the Wi-Fi protocol. The application allows you to monitor work in real time, set the noise level (ECO, standard, turbo), set up a local cleaning area, exclude the territory prohibited from entering, and also draw up a plan for cleaning the whole house according to a given schedule. The vacuum cleaner supports voice control via Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. Smart sensors monitor obstacles on the route and prevent falling off the stairs. Among the advantages of the model, we note a set of disposable napkins, which can replace a microfibre “mop”. Among the shortcomings, we will name not the most confident overcoming of 20 mm of the threshold, as well as unimportant wetting and pressing of napkins to the coating at any of the 3 levels of the “mop” mode.
