Working in a cold room all the time is a sure way to the pharmacy, and even to the hospital. If the employer does not think about the health of his employees, then the employees are free to take care of it themselves. Our redneck will hang himself for a penny, but from the heating bills at the new tariffs, he will probably have a pre-infarction state. Personally, I was not going to freeze, so back in early September, with the first cold snaps, I bought such a fan heater. With him, my workplace is now warm and this is the most important thing. My colleague-designer and I are sitting in a small 9-meter room, and such a heat source is quite enough for us. Literally yesterday morning, upon arrival at work, I observed 10 degrees on the thermometer. Half an hour of operation of the fan heater at full power raised the thermometer to 15.5 degrees, and after another half an hour it was already 18. So for small rooms with a low ceiling (in our room it is 2.25 m), the operation of this fan heater is very effective. After the temperature rises to 19 degrees, we turn on the warm air mode (aka low power mode) and the heat dissipation decreases to 1000W. One of the important factors when buying any household appliances is the price. This fan heater is very good in this sense. The price is balanced, affordable for any buyer. Heat is generated by an open coil, which is bad in terms of fire hazard. For the same reason, the smell during operation of the fan heater is not the most pleasant. This was especially noticeable during the first launches. Now, after two weeks of work, it has become weaker, but it is still felt. |

Heating area
The device is designed for heating rooms with an area of 15-20 m², but as practice shows, its place is in the kitchen or in a small room with a square of 10-15 m². The model accelerates the air currents preheated by a spiral around the perimeter of the room very measuredly. At first, the operation of the fan heater is accompanied by a persistent smell of plastic, which disappears over time.
Standard functionality
There are three modes in the heater: heating at half strength, at full power and ventilation without connecting the heating element to the operation. At maximum fan speed, the Rotex RAS10-H consumes 2000 W of power. The desired mode is selected by one of the control wheels on the heater body. At the same time, the function of setting the desired temperature is assigned to the second regulator, which is maintained by the device at the same level using the built-in thermostat.
Availability
For the sake of cheapness, a fan heater is assembled from not the highest quality plastic. Scratches are actively multiplying on the body of the device and technological seams are visible to the naked eye. Also, many users would like to see in the equipment of the device a power cord of greater length than the metre "native". You can turn a blind eye to most of the shortcomings for reasons of affordable cost, especially since all of them are not so critical.
