Flagship next-generation laptop from Samsung, which, according to the Korean giant, is designed to challenge Apple's dominance in the professional and creative laptop market, competing with the MacBook Pro. In producing this line, all the most advanced technologies and the most powerful hardware available on the market were utilized. The 16-inch screen is built on an AMOLED matrix, which is quite unusual for this field, with a fixed resolution of 2880x1800 pixels and a boosted refresh rate of 120 Hz, more commonly seen in gaming laptops.

It supports HDR10 format and stands out among other company laptops due to the extended 120% DCI P3 color coverage. This set of characteristics makes this series an appealing choice for creative users engaged in graphic design, programming, and professional high and ultra-high-resolution photo/video editing. Thanks to the use of the Intel Evo platform, representatives of this line are capable of remarkable feats in terms of performance and autonomy.

The manufacturer claims an impressive 17 hours of battery life under video playback mode (at 45% screen brightness). Powering it is a hybrid 14-core chip, Core i9 13900H, which is effectively the most powerful model in the mobile Raptor Lake lineup. A key feature of the processor is the division of cores into 2 types: P-cores activate under heavy workloads, while E-cores handle simple, casual tasks that do not require extraordinary performance from the processor.

This setup allows the device to manage power more efficiently and engage Turbo Boost when it's truly needed. Complementing the processor is the high-end discrete graphics card, GeForce RTX 4070 with 8 GB VRAM, supporting advanced ray tracing and third-generation DLSS. To prevent the accelerator from unnecessarily draining the precious battery, the manufacturer has set a 50-watt power consumption limit.

In this respect, the Galaxy Book3 Ultra significantly falls short of gaming laptops, where the RTX 4070 TDP ranges from 130 to 150 watts. The list of additional features reflects modern trends and includes a convenient island-style keyboard with a full-size Num block and a single-toned white backlight, a networking module supporting Wi-Fi 6E, two pairs of stereo speakers from the Austrian manufacturer AKG, a built-in card reader, and an advanced web camera with a 1080p sensor and multiple microphones for clearer voice transmission. Additionally, the manufacturer has taken care of data security by equipping each laptop in this series with a TPM cryptographic module and a fingerprint scanner.
