Good start
The Sapphire Nitro+ S360-A is the first foray into the liquid cooling market by a well-known graphics card manufacturer. Available in 240mm and 360mm sizes. And if the first option is approximately on the same level with air supercoolers in terms of heat removal capabilities, then the second one is definitely more efficient.
Selected materials
Flexible hoses 40 cm long are made of a material called EPDM. This is a special type of rubber that is resistant to electricity and high pressure. The top of the tubes is covered with nylon mesh for extra protection and a neat look. The pump cover is decorated with the Sapphire logo, spider-shaped metal grille and synchronized ARGB lighting.
Keep up with the times
The time-honored Asetek was selected as the pump OEM. Moreover, the latest 7-generation pump (15% more efficient) can change the refrigerant pumping speed: from 800 to 2800 rpm. While many other CBOs have a fixed pump speed, which makes it noisy even in a simple PC.
Hybrid turntables
The Sapphire Nitro+ S360-A's 3-pin lighting connectors are forwarded, allowing you to connect other glowing PC components to the motherboard's single ARGB-5V port. The trio of double ball bearing fans has a hybrid blade structure — a cross between classic flat and heavily curved turbine blades. Compared to the competition, this delivers 4°C lower temperatures and 5 dB lower noise levels.
