A model of optimal size for a company of 3 – 5 people, which can be used on long trips by car, during outings and even at home. The versatility of use of the car refrigerator is determined by the ability to receive power both from the vehicle’s on-board power supply with a voltage of 12 V, and from a household socket of 230 V. Sencor SCM 2224BL supports two operating modes: cooling (up to 20 °C lower than the ambient temperature) and providing heat (for storing hot food).

The model uses a thermoelectric operating principle based on special semiconductor wafers and the “Peltier effect”. Depending on the direction of current flow through these plates, their inner side can be cooled or heated. The refrigerator received a protection system against deep discharge of the car battery, acquired a fan in the lid and a built-in handle for carrying the 8-kilogram case. Additionally, the model is equipped out of the box with a removable partition for zoning the internal space.
