When we got out of the age of newborns and we entered the second year, my wife and I began to look at walking children's wheelchair bikes. We didn't really like any "Lexuses" and "mini-trikes" with small seats. Still, it is not very comfortable to rest in them. In our understanding, at the age of up to one and a half years, a high supporting back is desirable, which in these inexpensive models was not at all from the word. But we liked this model right away. It had everything we needed both now and in the near future when we want to pedal on our own. High back, comfortable for our baby (we are only thirteen months old). The seat itself is quite comfortable and soft. There are seat belts, which we actively used at first. They are removable along with the upholstery and can be washed. The control easily switches to the parental one and the child turns the steering wheel, and I calmly control the bike with the parental handle. Also, with the help of a release clutch, the pedals are disconnected from the wheel. The parental control is really very soft, Steering is really in one Touch)) The handle is adjustable in height and with my 190cm I don’t have to bend over additionally (there was such nonsense with a stroller, my mother-in-law bought and didn’t take into account my height). In too hot and sunny weather, a visor was used to protect from the sun. It can also cover from light rain. In the future, we will remove the back, handle and visor and we will ride like a regular tricycle. Foam rubber wheels are a bit stiff in my opinion and "built-in dampers" don't help much. From this, on uneven pavement, the wheelchair shakes a little. |
