I bought this battery to revive my old Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W55. Since this battery is lithium-ion, I didn't bother with conditioning. It feels like it's not the same quality as before. The old battery really lasted longer. It seems like these batteries have been sitting in a warehouse for many years, and during that time they have become slightly less effective. Or, instead of an original, I was sold some sort of equivalent. Previously, it was enough to go out for a full day of shooting photos, but now it's only half a day. When shooting video, the battery drains even faster (maximum 3-4 hours). I recommend buying two right away. Then it will be sufficient for active shooting (for example, when going on a trip). price holds a charge worse than the old original  Andrey B.: use Sony NP-BG1 more than year |
