For the home, for the bass lover, for the movie lover, for the techno lover - perfect

The headphones fit me perfectly, because I'm a bass lover. I chose this model because of these features. Sometimes the bass is even too much, but I like it. At high volume, the head begins to vibrate along with the headphones) In films, the sound is simply incredibly cool, better than in the cinema. When it comes to music, techno, rap boombox, and a bit of pop is simply out of competition. The rest is not bad. The quality of the materials is not bad, but the overlays could be better. They sit well, but the ears still sweat a little. It's convenient for that. and don't fall off. Wireless is understandable, but I will say that it holds a charge well - I have never sat down. Very good noise canceller. But if you walk down the street, then from the wind it can work with a nasty howl and rustling. Therefore, I recommend using it without movement. For that in the same subway. in a car or train - super, softly, but fully removes all unnecessary sounds. I put 4+, not 5, because for such a cost they could do better overlays. After all, I didn’t buy such ears for a year, or maybe not for two. By the way, you can listen on the wire, but there is no difference in sound at all. And, I almost forgot! So 4.2 bluetooth is still junk already, they could have put 5.0. Otherwise, the headphones are very atmospheric, and suitable for all bass lovers, which I am.
All they lose is mixing with low frequencies. And it's great, because for me it's perfect. Hold a charge well. Ideal for films. Not bad plastic. There is an opportunity to listen through the wire (purely morally suits me, because I know that if they sit down, I can listen to them).
The overlays are made of not bad leather, but in my opinion they are very thin and will not last very long. Could already do 5.0 bluetooth.

Sony proprietary noise canceling

Sony has accumulated a wealth of experience in creating active noise canceling headphones, and its flagship models WH-1000XM2 and WH-1000XM3 are considered the industry's gold standard. It is not surprising that over time, the Japanese decided to release several intermediate models with the same cool “noise reduction”, but in general, simpler and cheaper. One of the first signs was the Sony WH-XB900N headphones.

Support for all popular codecs

At the same time, most of the legacy from older models has remained in place: here you have support for all popular Hi-Res codecs (AAC, aptX, aptX HD and LDAC), so they can be used with any smartphone, and active noise reduction (good, but not as cool as the WH-1000XM3), and NFC for quick pairing with an audio source. Well, do not forget about a well-made touch panel to control the player and a battery that lasts about 30 hours. The only disappointing thing here is the ergonomics. In terms of design, build quality and dimensions, the WH-XB900N almost completely repeats the WH-1000XM3, but the material of the ear pads has changed, which makes them hot.

Diaphragm bleeding

In terms of sound, the Sony WH-XB900N are quite good for wireless headphones. The sound here is smooth, detailed, with an emphasis on the detailing of mid frequencies, panning and naturalness of timbres. Naturally, there is an emphasis on bass — it is now difficult to sell headphones without it — and sometimes it is quite tangible, which makes you want to unscrew it to almost half of its original value. For some reason, this feature is more pronounced when listening to music via Bluetooth, regardless of the selected codec. But on the wire, the emphasis on bass was preserved, but not so dominant.
