Stanley is DeWalt's younger brother, or rather, it's just a more affordable brand name from the same manufacturer. But cheaper doesn't mean bad. In fact, in my opinion, the prices for DeWalt are unreasonably jacked up. The tool, of course, is not bad, but not without flaws. So, as for me, Stanley is a great option, both for home and for low-intensity professional work. It is not worth driving it continuously in the tail and in the mane, it is not designed for this, and the current designers have learned to save the margin of safety very well. I took it for home fuss with furniture. Once I did this closely, and now, out of old memory, I designed a kitchen for myself, ordered all the details and undertook to assemble it myself. I confess that he made me happy. It sits comfortably in the hand, good weight distribution and balance (as far as they can be in a screwdriver). There is enough power for twisting and unscrewing any fasteners, because at the first speed (up to 400 rpm) the tool develops a moment of about 27 Nm. By the way, the tightening torque is adjustable, the corresponding switch has 20 positions. The second speed is more suitable for drilling, with it the chuck spins up to 1500 rpm and this makes it easy to make holes in wood, any plastics and metal. When working in dark corners, the LED backlight helps a lot, such a trifle seems to be, but how much easier it is to work with. The screwdriver weighs quite a bit 1kg. Complete with nylon carrying bag, replaceable battery and charger. A couple of times the self-tightening cartridge blossomed, but in general it holds well. The first five positions of the tightening force regulator differ little from each other. |
