We have an official, and not some kind of left authorized center, I have already worked with them (about another tool of this brand) and the experience turned out to be very successful. Power is good, torque is sufficient. With drywall of any thickness, there are no problems at all, with wood (pine, alder, linden) and black self-tapping screws with large carvings sharpened under wood are also in order. There is a sensible adjustment of the screwing depth of the fasteners. The seat for replaceable bits is a quarter-inch hexagon, that is, the most common and versatile option. The fastening of the bit is reliable. The plastic case is durable and well balanced, rubberized in the right places (handle). The first thing I didn't like was the strong smell of plastic (hot hello to the Chinese friends who made it). For a month and a half, it weathered a little, but when you open the box with the tool, you can still feel the dense smell of the plastic smell. The clip for hanging the tool on the belt is clearly superfluous here. It is possible to tell a story, but it is inconvenient, so hardly anyone takes advantage of this opportunity. I would like the power cord to be longer, although this is already nit-picking - you still need to use an extension cord of the right size for free work. |

The STDR5206 is well balanced and sits securely in the hand. It weighs a little (1.4 kg), and the spectacular yellow and black colours of the durable plastic case with rubberized inserts are similar to those used by another famous brand — Dewalt, which, however, is not surprising, since both brands are part of the same concern.

The screwdriver motor has a sufficient, although not the largest power in the niche, 520 watts. The spindle speed reaches 4500 rpm, and this is an indicator above the average in the niche. The depth stop will help to cope with the twisting of self-tapping screws into materials of small thickness. Thanks to the clutch, the bit rotates only when the force is applied to the working surface, while at idle, the clutch is open and the bit is stationary. But fastening for the nozzle of the tape store of self-tapping screws is not provided. You have to load them one by one.
Not everyone will like the small and not very reliable belt clip and the length of the cord, which is only 2 m. And ceiling work is not at all possible. It adds tar and the smell of cheap plastic (although the company is American, but assembled in China), which steadfastly lasts for a month after purchase. But for such money, and even with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty and excellent service support, you can close your eyes to these shortcomings.
