Stiga specializes in professional garden equipment, and thus the Stiga SC 80 AE 16 chainsaw fully meets the requirements for a professional-grade tool. It features a modern brushless motor of decent power (in maximum load mode, energy consumption reaches 1380 W), placing it on par with gas chainsaws in terms of performance. Therefore, this saw can be used not only for work on a private estate. It is quite suitable for those engaged in maintaining medium to large-sized areas, including garden and park establishments.
Professional Tool
It's easy to guess that the tool is "tailored" to the needs of professionals simply by looking at its design. For example, it does not have a tool-free chain tensioning system (it is assumed that you are accustomed to and skilled in using a tool). However, a lot of attention is given to ergonomics. All control buttons and management components are conveniently located. The shape of the front and rear handles allows you to hold the tool in any way you like. The long (400 mm) bar with a high-quality Oregon chain allows working with fairly thick trees and large logs. The 2.5 Ah battery lasts for about an hour of work (which is roughly the same duration a gas chainsaw can run on a single tank).

A Saw Not for Everyone
The battery is not included in the package and must be purchased separately. The price of a 4 Ah battery is comparable to the cost of the device itself. Moreover, it is not compatible with all types of battery tools of this brand, only specific models like the Stiga SBC 80 AE trimmer and the Stiga SAB 80 AE blower.
