Teka Basico 79 1B 1D 790x500 price graph

Expensive, but very high quality thick metal rectangular sink
     26 December 2016
It might seem that there is nothing simpler than choosing a kitchen sink. But that is only at first glance. The rule "just take the most expensive one and you won't go wrong" doesn't work here, because they come in different shapes, volumes, and configurations (with two basins, for example). The equipment can also vary drastically, from a bare piece of metal to a full set of plumbing accessories needed for installation and connection. Even the materials of the sinks can be as different as night and day. They are made from cheap stainless steel, high-quality stainless steel, composites based on granite powder or other inorganic fillers, faience, and ultra-expensive models for true aficionados can be made from copper or bronze.
Classic mortise overhead sink of a standard rectangular shape. The bowl is also rectangular, medium capacity, with a complete drain valve. There are three main features of this model. 1. Steel thickness of 1.2 mm gives remarkable strength and impact resistance (sooner or later something will fall into the sink) and thanks to this thickness, the sink turns out to be weighty (more than 7 kg) 2. The surface is textured, that is, it has a microrelief hiding any minor flaws 3. High-quality stainless steel, which, in addition to iron, includes 18% chromium and 10% nickel. It is durable, hygienic and does not change its appearance over time. Made in Turkey, which is better than Chinese stamping.
There is no hole for the faucet, so the installers charged me extra for drilling it. But on the other hand, with the hole already made, it would not be reversible. The manufacturer gives a five-year warranty for such models, but for some reason our retailers cut this period down to 12 months.
