The portable router of the Tenda brand represents the middle price segment and is positioned as a mobile router designed for home use or a small office. Thanks to the presence of the Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) module, the accessory is able to provide access to the mobile Internet for 10 devices. The modem, when a SIM card is installed in the appropriate slot, works in LTE networks, and its speed corresponds to the Cat.4 category, that is, the throughput of receiving / transmitting data can reach 150/50 Mbps, respectively (it is stated that this, for example, should be enough to watch HD video online).

The Tenda 4G180 portable router can operate both from a built-in 2100 mAh battery and from USB. The lithium-ion battery itself is removable and provides up to 10 hours of autonomy. A special mention also deserves a slot for memory cards, and the corresponding drive can act as a network storage device. The model does not have a full-fledged display, but there are informative LED indicators, which, among other things, suggest the current battery level, communication quality and the presence of additional alerts.
