It is possible to measure the capacitance of capacitors for some washing machines or refrigerators, but anything over 100 µF cannot be checked. Thus, for repairing electronic devices with capacitors of very low capacitance and capacitance over 100 µF, this multimeter is not quite appropriate. In my opinion, it's better to choose a model with the capability to measure temperature, and separately purchase a precise device specifically for measuring capacitor capacitance. Because a thermocouple is sometimes needed, for example, to calibrate a soldering iron or a hot air gun. Though NCV does not penetrate through obstacles, it can be very useful when you need to ensure that a wire is not live. The transistor testing socket is quite inconvenient, as it's almost impossible to fit anything in there. It’s already vibrating. Mitt's reaction to calling. Quite a clear assembly. It protects the voltage from the appearance of cheap varistors. Automatically turns on. Uses 2 AA batteries that last forever. The silicone trim of the probes turned out to be quite handy. Massive and somewhat heavy. Measures capacitor capacitance approximately up to 50 µF. No temperature measurement. Backlight turns off automatically. The NCV functionality for wire break detection works only when the wiring is exposed, it does not detect hidden wiring at all. Impractical connector for testing transistors.
