The Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 is a basic model from 2022 and belongs to the company's premium series. The model features an advanced filtration system that captures 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns. It consists of three layers, including an active carbon layer. This system helps eliminate dust mites, allergens, bacteria (including staphylococci), viruses (including H1N1), smoke, other odors, and pet hair.
It takes only 10 minutes to clean a 20 m² room thanks to its good performance of 400 m³/h and all-around perimeter suction. The maximum service area can reach 48 m². The Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 supports an automatic mode based on readings from high-precision laser sensors. The air pollution level is displayed on an OLED screen as a colored scale, along with other indicators.
Touch buttons are used for control. The built-in Wi-Fi module synchronizes the device with the Mi Home (Xiaomi Home) mobile service and provides remote access for settings and monitoring. It also supports Google and Amazon voice assistants. The noise level at maximum power is fairly noticeable (64 dB), while in night mode it does not exceed 32 dB. The manufacturer has ensured easy filter replacement. The average lifespan of the filter is 6 to 12 months. The purification complex consumes about 30 kW per month and is very economical.
