Zenit ZR-780 (841510)

A household-class network plane designed for work in a home carpentry workshop. The tool is equipped with a 780-watt electric motor, which ensures rotation of the drum with a knife at a speed of up to 16,000 rpm. The width of the knife is 82 mm, which is a standard indicator for this class of planes. The planing depth (up to 2 mm maximum) is adjusted using the rotary front handle.

In addition to planing flat surfaces, the Zenit ZR-780 plane can make a quarter (rebate) sample up to 10 mm deep and process the edges of workpieces, forming a chamfer at an angle of 45 degrees (for this, there is a V-shaped slot on the sole). Chips are removed through a pipe, which is located on the right side of the body and has a round cross section. The weight of the tool is 2.1 kg. The plane comes with an open-end wrench, which is necessary for fixing the knife on the drum, and a spare drive belt.
