Electric shavers "Kharkov" appeared in the days of the Soviet Union, when their production was established at the "Kharkov Plant of Electrical Equipment" (later renamed the plant of electric shavers "Echo") - this happened back in 1956. The very first model bore the unpretentious name "Kharkov-1" and was equipped with two circular knives. There is a legend that it was completely copied from some foreign analogue. But according to other data, it was based on another, previously presented Soviet electric razor BE-56. What was actually established there, most likely, will never work out.

The first model was followed by the Kharkiv-2 razor, then other more advanced solutions were introduced. In just a few decades, several dozen electric shavers of this brand were produced, which were generally quite successful models.

After the collapse of the country, production at the plant was significantly reduced. But the brand survived, Kharkiv electric shavers are produced to this day. Due to the good value for money, they quite successfully compete with the products of more famous brands, which are more expensive. Consumers are offered various models of electric shavers, as well as trimmers, electric tongs, shoe dryers and other similar products that meet all industry standards.
