The BlueTrack sensor differs from the classic “optics” by the blue backlight (hence the name), the increased brightness of the LED, the increased illumination area and the high resolution of the matrix in the receiver. All this ensures very high positioning accuracy. In terms of compatibility with different types of work surfaces, BlueTrack mice are somewhat inferior to devices on the V-Track (see the relevant paragraph), but they are noticeably superior to traditional optical ones and are able to work confidently on glass, polished stone, carpet pile, etc.
