Such flashlights can be a very useful acquisition for scuba divers, underwater hunters, fans of photography and video shooting under water, etc. The specific depth limit can be different, it is usually specified in the detailed characteristics of the model. For waterproofing in general, see "Features/Characteristics"; here we note that not every waterproof flashlight belongs to diving.
