Bluetooth headphone adapters
Bluetooth
— the presence of a Bluetooth module in the amplifier for direct wireless communication with other devices, such as a smartphone, tablet or laptop. This function, in fact, turns the amplifier into a Bluetooth adapter for wired headphones; the combination of such a device with high-quality "ears" often provides higher sound quality than traditional wireless headphones. Another advantage of this type of connection is the lack of wires and freedom of movement: Bluetooth has a standard range of at least 10 m in the open air. However initially the quality of the audio signal transmitted in this way is still rather low; however, modern audio devices can use special technologies such as aptX to eliminate this drawback and achieve a quality comparable to a wired Hi-Fi connection. On the other hand, support for these technologies significantly affects the cost, and sophisticated music lovers often easily notice the difference between aptX and a wired connection. Therefore, Bluetooth modules are found exclusively in portable amplifiers (see "Type") — in stationary models, there are usually no difficulties with a wired connection, especially since it is much cheaper.
