The representative of the Philips V Line line is one of the leaders in sales, and not only in its price category. Externally, it is distinguished by the so-called frameless design: a thin frame covers the screen on three sides, which adds external attractiveness to the device, increases the viewing area, and also increases convenience when working with multiple displays at the same time.
Philips 243V7QDAB is equipped with a 23.8-inch screen with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. The IPS display is based on a matrix with excellent viewing angles, acceptable brightness (250 cd/m2) and contrast (1,000:1). The monitor shows a rich, juicy picture. However, there are questions about the naturalness of the image. The default colour accuracy leaves much to be desired, which is decided by the choice of modes and their personal settings in the menu (users also recommend disabling SmartContrast technology).
The monitor supports Flicker-Free technology. It eliminates flickering and reduces the strain on vision. For safety and comfort, the model also uses LowBlue technology, which minimizes the intensity of potentially harmful blue glow to the eyes. And for fans of reading, a specialized EasyRead mode is offered.
Philips 243V7QDAB is equipped with two 2W stereo speakers. Their total volume is quite enough, for example, to watch videos on YouTube. In addition, thanks to the built-in acoustics, you can save money on buying a separate audio system, not cluttering up the desktop and avoiding confusion with wires.
To connect the model to a PC, three connectors are offered to choose from: HDMI, VGA or DVI-D. There is also a mini-Jack for headphones, it is possible to fix the monitor on the wall using a VESA 100x100 mm mount.
The model is suitable for office work or home use for all those who are looking for an inexpensive solution with an attractive design. Among analogues with similar parameters and additional options, it is worth highlighting AOC I2481Fxh 24 " black , but it costs more.

The monitor is positioned as an affordable solution for fans of computer games. The model is distinguished by a strict, typical for Dell, design with a rather large frame around the screen and a stylish stand in which there is a hole for wires.
Dell SE2417HG is equipped with two HDMI 1.4 ports at once. This will allow you to simultaneously connect the device to a computer and console, for example, Sony PlayStation 4 Slim 500Gb Price from 15 999 up to 17 899 ₴. The monitor also received VGA and line-out for speakers or headphones.
Screen position adjustments are limited by its tilt. If desired, the rack can be removed to fix the monitor on the wall. However, in this case, in addition to mounting the VESA, you will need an additional adapter.
The Dell SE2417HG is equipped with a 23.6-inch FullHD screen based on an 8-bit TN+Film matrix. Its main advantage is the minimum response time at the level of 1 ms, which is designed to ensure responsiveness in games and maximum smoothness of dynamic scenes when watching videos. Although in shooters and races, as some users note, the appearance of loops and blurring is not excluded, which is explained by the typical 60 Hz screen refresh rate for the low-cost segment.
The display has a fairly high level of brightness (300 cd/m2), is characterized by a wide colour coverage and acceptable colour accuracy, offers flexible image settings.
The traditional disadvantages of the TN-matrix include low visibility (160 ° vertically and 170 ° horizontally), and at large angles the picture is significantly distorted. In addition, the model does not support Flicker-Free technology, which increases the likelihood of eye fatigue during prolonged stay in front of the screen.
In general, the Dell SE2417HG is able to become an affordable alternative to gaming monitors. But the model is focused on more universal use: periodic games, watching movies, surfing the web and office work.

The wide-format 23.8-inch monitor of the Taiwanese company AOC is made in black. He received a stand with a round base and adjustable tilt angles. The model can also be placed on the wall by removing the stand and using the VESA 100x100 mm mount.
The main feature of the design of the AOC I240SXH is a thin frame around the screen. The presence of edging around the perimeter of the display itself does not allow calling the model frameless, which slightly hides the viewing area. But even despite this, the device can become a stylish element of the interior.
The main interface ports are located on the back of the case: VGA and HDMI for image output (2 cables for them are also included) and a mini-Jack for connecting headphones. There are also control keys on the back. Probably, you will first need to get used to "automatically" hitting the right buttons.
The IPS matrix is responsible for displaying the image in the AOC I240SXH. It supports Full HD resolution, is characterized by high contrast values, especially in dynamic scenes (20,000,000:1), saturated, moderately bright colours. Factory calibration provides accurate colour reproduction and a natural picture, which, usually, users like.
The disadvantages of the image include possible highlights (the so-called glow effect), which appear in the dark at the edges of the screen. But in bright rooms there are no complaints about the AOC I240SXH, besides, the matte coating of the display should additionally prevent glare.
Flicker-Free and Low-blue light technologies are designed to minimize eye fatigue, respectively preventing flickering and reducing the blue backlight. The monitor is suitable for various use cases. You can work behind it, surf the Internet, watch movies or play (a response time of 5 ms is quite enough for an amateur level).

The BenQ monitor, which debuted in 2018, presents the GW series. It is considered "popular", as it combines high-quality and inexpensive solutions. The model is the heir to the popular BenQ GW2470H 24 " black , differing in the presence of a pair of built-in speakers (with a capacity of 1W each), as well as a set of available interfaces. It offers 3 different ports: HDMI, VGA and DVI-D, whereas the predecessor has 2 HDMI and VGA.
The BenQ GW2470HM is made in a traditional frame design and black coloring. A large enough rectangular stand with a surface imitating polished metal will take care of the stability of the monitor. And a noticeable glossy insert in the centre of the stand makes the overall design not so strict. The stand has a single degree of freedom: the tilt of the screen is adjusted in a small range.
On the back side of the case there are holes for VESA brackets, which makes wall mounting of the monitor possible.
The BenQ GW2470HM received a 23.8-inch monitor with Full HD resolution and an 8-bit VA matrix. The advantages of the latter include a high level of contrast (3000:1) providing a deep and sharp black colour.
According to users, the colour rendering of the display is at a height: the picture looks natural and without an overabundance of colours. It is also worth highlighting the excellent uniformity of illumination, the absence of glare in the dark, acceptable viewing angles.
The response time is slightly inferior to TN competitors, for example, Asus VP247T 24 " black , but the overall smoothness of the video sequence is at a decent level. In addition, the base frame rate of 60 Hz can be slightly "overclocked", thanks to the support of Advanced Motion Acceleration (AMA) technology.
The monitor has a flicker-Free backlight (Flicker-Free), offers extensive customization options through a convenient menu.
In general, the BenQ GW2470HM is suitable for solving various office and home tasks, ranging from working with texts and surfing the web, to watching movies and spending time playing not too fast and dynamic games.

LG's display is made in a classic design. The model received a fairly large frame around the screen, a compact rectangular stand with the ability to adjust the angle of inclination. The main interface ports are located at the back: VGA, HDMI, mini-Jack output, as well as holes for wall mounting the monitor using VESA 75x75 mm
As users note, the appearance and strength of plastic correspond to the low-cost segment of the monitor, as well as the overall build quality.
To measure the image settings, a convenient on-screen menu is provided, in which you can select various presets, options for dividing the screen into parts, etc.
LG 24MK430H is equipped with an IPS matrix. Its strengths include a wide colour coverage (72% of the CIE1931 space), high-quality colour reproduction and large viewing angles without distortion and a sharp drop in the brightness of the picture. The pixel size is 0.27 mm, which is traditional for 24-inch FullHD models, which provides an acceptable level of clarity without pronounced graininess of the image.
The black colour looks quite saturated and plausible, and the Black Stabilizer technology is responsible for transmitting its various shades. But it does not solve the traditional problem of glare at the edges of the screen for many IPS matrices.
In LG 24MK430H, the frame rate is 75 Hz, which is designed to improve the smoothness of the video sequence in dynamic scenes in comparison with models at 60 Hz. In addition, thanks to the support of FreeSync and paired with an AMD graphics card compatible with this technology, users have the right to count on perfect image synchronization in games and the absence of jerks, loops and delays.
It cannot be said that the LG 24MK430H is a full—fledged gaming monitor, but it is able to meet the basic needs of amateur gamers. So, if you need an inexpensive, well-adapted display with high image parameters for games, then owners of computers with an AMD graphics adapter should definitely look at this model.
