An audible signal will notify you of the end of the time, after which the burner will automatically turn off. By the way, until it cools down to a comfortable temperature, so as not to get burned, the H icon will be lit in the display field, and the burner itself will be red with heat.

For even greater safety and energy savings, the panel has an automatic shutdown function. It will work if you suddenly forget to set the power of the burner, accidentally flood the surface, leave dishes or a rag on it, or if all the burners are turned off.

The manufacturer did not forget to provide the CPE 6433 KX with functions such as control lock and child protection. And the StopGo button practically puts the stove into “sleep” mode, without turning it off, but maintaining the minimum power of the active burners. It is very convenient if you suddenly need to leave for half an hour, but you don’t want to interrupt the cooking process.

The eminent brand produces premium-class household appliances, which are highly valued by both users and specialists. The ET 651FNP1 hob is an example of German quality, with great features and at an affordable price (about 350 USD).

The surface has a narrow chamfer at the edges and a wider front, due to which it looks very elegant. Two of the 4 heating zones have expansion. At the same time, one oval zone, 26.5 cm long and with a power of 2.6 kW, makes it possible to cook on it in oblong-shaped dishes - goose dishes, oval braziers. When there is no such need, the extension is turned off, and the oval zone turns into a regular round one.

The double-circuit burner has a diameter of 21 cm and a power of 2.1 kW. It will ideally fit a large frying pan or pan. The total connection power of all burners is quite impressive - 8.3 kW.

I liked the implementation of the control panel. The TouchSlider scale makes it possible to adjust the settings with one movement of your finger, including the power of the burner, from 0 to 9 in increments of 0.5. The letter b at the end of the scale indicates the PowerBoost mode, which allows you to set the maximum allowable power for the zone. To activate PowerBoost on dual-circuit burners, you will need to turn on the second circuit, which, accordingly, will require the use of cookware of the appropriate diameter. Above the TouchSlider scale are indicators of working areas that are activated when you click on them, between them are buttons for expanding the oval zone and turning on the contour.

The surface supports the function of two types of timers at once : automatic and household. The first, after the set time, turns off the burner, the second simply emits a beep. The maximum period that can be set for both timers is 99 minutes.

The Germans took care of safety as well. There is a function to block the control panel from accidental pressing, in other words, a child lock, automatic emergency shutdown and even wipe protection. The last option allows you to block the buttons when the surface is turned on for 30 seconds, without fear of accidentally changing the settings. And the Restart option will save you from accidentally resetting all settings, keeping them in memory for another 4 seconds after turning off.

Residents of old houses with weak wiring will be pleased with the “PowerManagement” option, which allows you to set the minimum network load mode when installing the panel.

In the instructions, the scrupulous Germans painted everything to the smallest detail, and even provided a table of dishes with power settings and an estimated cooking time. Such care, of course, is pleasant.

Retro turned out in the literal sense. All control comes down to setting the power level for each burner from 1 to 9 and ... that's it. There are, of course, residual heat indicators, but everyone has them ... In fairness, we note that one more function is assigned to the indicators. They light up if hot dishes are placed on a non-working burner, but do not automatically turn off the burners.

The EC 642 CLI does not have any other functions or options. Whether this is considered a minus, given the retro orientation of the panel, is up to you. Someone will surely like this simplicity. But given the cost of the panel on a par with the same advanced high-tech and no less beautiful Siemens ET 651FNP1 black , for us personally, the choice in favor of the latter seems obvious.

Bosch is a technique that does not need advertising or a separate introduction. Any product of the German brand is a guarantee of impeccable quality and functionality for many years.

The PKF 651 FP3E hob has a strict, minimalist design typical of Bosch. Small chamfers on the edges give the product even more conciseness and completeness. All 4 burners are made using Hi-Light technology and have a total power of 6.6 kW. The large zone is equipped with a second circuit.

Touch control is located in the front center. There are many settings, but they are implemented very conveniently and intuitively. The burner indicators are shown in the form of a square, under which the buttons are lined up: start, child lock, adjustment - / +, circuit extension and timer.

There are two timers in the panel: automatic and alarm. The first is standard, which allows you to set the time before shutdown, the second is just sound and is useful in cases where you need to add something to the dish during the cooking process.

Those who accidentally or prematurely turn off the panel will be saved from resetting all the settings by the Restart option, which saves them in memory for 4 seconds after turning off. Not God knows how much, of course, but if you catch yourself right away, you can make it in time.

Many people will certainly be pleased with the on-off indication of residual heat. As the zones cool down, the large H changes to a small h, which tells us that the burner has almost cooled down. By the way, if the burner will work for a long time (from 1 hour to 10 depending on the installed power) without changing the settings, the automatic emergency shutdown function will work. The burner will stop heating up, which will save you from unnecessary waste of electricity, as well as ignition and fire.

In general, the impression of the product is positive. Convenience, comfort, fast heating and multifunctional protection cause pleasant emotions and a desire to purchase a product. On the other hand, for such a price (370 USD) it was possible to add a three-circuit burner or an oval one. Or both. But, as they say, the best is the enemy of the good.

Bosch PKF 651 FP3E is a hob for connoisseurs of confident German quality and restraint in sophistication.

In the household appliances market, Gorenje can be considered a confident “middle peasant”. The company's products are distinguished by reliability, pleasant design, adequate cost. The ECT 644 SY2 hob is a quite successful, although not cheap (about 450 USD) attempt to compete with more elite brands and even partially surpass them in popularity.
