The maximum volume of water that can be poured into the container is 4.5 liters. A 4-level scale on the front side of the case helps to normalize the quantity.

The design of the thermopot turned out to be somewhat cumbersome and intrusive. The combination of white and gray plastic will ideally fit into the interiors of Hi-tech kitchens. The bright blue backlight of the water level indicator, although useful in dim lighting or its absence, begins to tyre over time, and, unfortunately, does not turn off in any way. On this, the cons, in principle, end and solid pluses begin.

The model has a large backlit LCD display and 4 physical control buttons. The display shows the clock, operating modes and the current water temperature ( thermometer function), which can be set to 40, 65, 85 and 98º C. The thermostat will be extremely useful for young mothers and fathers who do not have to manually cool the water to a comfortable temperature in order to prepare a drink or porridge for your child. Equally useful is the timer function. You can set the time at which the kettle should be boiled.

Not very convenient, but a necessary feature of the device is that every time you turn it off / on, it boils water again, even if it is still hot. This is done so that the water in the container is always only boiled.

The MTP-2454 supports 2 dispensing methods - using the electric pump activation button and the lever hidden behind the spout. There is no large button on the lid, which is familiar to many models, but there is a control panel lock button. And this once again indicates that the manufacturer took care of the safety of small children, if they suddenly want to use the device on their own, in the absence of adults.

Traditionally, for most thermopots, the model has overheating protection that turns off the device when the water level is insufficient, a removable cover for easy maintenance, and a comfortable handle for transportation.

It should be understood that HW 500 does not work in thermos mode, it simply quickly heats a small amount of water to a predetermined temperature, so it can only be called a thermopot. Rather, it is an advanced boiler. However, it is quite convenient, although it has a significant disadvantage compared to classic thermopots - it is useless without being connected to the mains.

Otherwise, Caso HW 500 is an perfect assistant in the kitchen, especially in small coffee houses, whose owners will pay back their cost (250 - 270 USD) rather quickly.
