Samsung DW-60M6040 supports six work programs. Among them are hygienic treatment at a temperature of 70 degrees, delicate, intensive, economical, fast (60 minutes) and automatic mode. In the latter , the water purity sensor itself sets the temperature and other parameters to get rid of contaminants.

Additionally, the dishwasher has a delay start (1 - 24 hours), pre-rinsing and the Half Load function, with which you can wash a small amount of dishes by placing them in the lower basket.

The total capacity of the dishwasher is 13 place settings. The working chamber is divided by 2 main baskets. There is a separate box for cutlery, and special holders for cups and glasses.

On the front side of the Samsung DW-60M6040 is a control panel with buttons and a touch screen. The selected programs are displayed on the screen, and in the course of their execution there is a countdown of the time to completion. Indicators will tell you about the lack of salt and rinse aid. The control panel can be locked for child protection.

Otherwise, the model deserves attention and is an interesting competitor to traditional market leaders in dishwashers from Bosch, Siemens and Electrolux.

The Bosch SMI 25AS02 control panel is represented by a rotary switch, buttons and a display with indicators. With their help, you can select the desired programme and functions, set the start timer from 1 to 24 hours, find out if the appliance does not have enough salt or rinse aid to work effectively. The dishwasher is equipped with an EasyLock door closer, which ensures that the door closes tightly without noise and/or damage.

The shortcomings of the model include the lack of protection from children and the appreciable duration of most programs in addition to the hour (over 200 minutes). If these moments are not embarrassing, then the dishwasher can become a balanced solution in which there is nothing superfluous.

The Siemens Open Top Dishwasher cleans up to 13 place settings at a time. The working chamber is divided by 2 baskets, the top of which is adjustable in height in 3 positions. Additionally, there is a box for cutlery, a system of shelves and holders for various items, ranging from fragile cups to large pots.

The automatic mode will eliminate long-term dishwasher settings: the cleanliness sensor itself sets all the operating parameters for the cycle. And the pre-rinse programme prevents dirt from drying out on dishes that are waiting for their machine wash time.

Additional functionality is not limited to delay start from 1 to 24 hours. With VarioSpeedPlus you can speed up the cycle by increasing water and electricity consumption. The extraDry function is recommended for washing plastic utensils, which usually remain underdone. And the intesiveZone option allows you to simultaneously wash lightly soiled dishes (in the upper basket) and dirtier utensils (in the lower one).

The dishwasher is equipped with an iQdrive inverter motor. It contributes to quiet operation (up to 44 dB) and efficiency of the device. Siemens SN 536S03 consumes 2660 liters of water per year (about 10 liters per cycle) and 262 kW of electricity (class A ++). According to these indicators, the model is identical with Bosch SMI 25AS02 , although it holds one set more (13 vs. 12).

The safety of the dishwasher is ensured by the aquaStop system, which prevents leaks during the entire period of operation of the appliance. There is also child protection, which allows you to lock the controls. The Servo-Schloss auto-closer makes it easy to close the door.

The display shows a countdown to the end of the running programme. To the left and to the right of the screen, buttons are lined up in a row (7 pieces each). Because of them, the Siemens SN 536S03 control panel looks a little cluttered: not everyone will like this design. There are no other complaints about the device and its operation, which makes the dishwasher one of the best solutions in its price segment.

The Bosch model is positioned as an exceptionally quiet dishwasher - SuperSilence. It is equipped with an EcoSilence Drive inverter motor and has a separate quiet (night) programme, which reduces the noise level by 2 dB from the standard 44 dB for this device. Predominantly premium solutions work even quieter, for example, Smeg PLA6442 .

In total, Bosch SMI 46AW04 has 6 operating modes, including fully automatic (for the user, all parameters are set by the cleanliness sensor and load sensor), delicate, eco, hourly and intensive.

The dishwasher is equipped with three special functions. Hygiene Plus involves the hygienic processing of dishes at elevated temperatures. Drying Extra provides extra drying. And VarioSpeed ​​Plus allows you to speed up the washing process without sacrificing quality. The Bosch SMI 46AW04 also has a self-cleaning programme and a delay start timer for a period of one hour to a day.

In two baskets, traditional for modern dishwashers, 12 sets of dishes are placed. To accommodate large frying pans and pots, the height of the lower basket is adjustable.

For one wash cycle Bosch SMI 46AW04 requires 9.5 liters of water. The device "winds" on the meter up to 258 kW of electricity per year (less than 1 kW at a time), which corresponds to the A ++ energy class.

The main control element of the dishwasher is a rather large display. It displays the main information messages and counts down the time until the end of the dishwashing cycle. The child lock function allows you to lock the buttons, preventing mischief.

Bosch SMI 46AW04 is equipped with an EasyLock door closer. It will eliminate the problem of loose closures and/or damage to the instrument due to careless handling.

In the middle price category, the model is one of the most interesting dishwashers designed for partial embedding.

Designed for 15 sets of dishes, the Electrolux model is one of the most capacious open panel appliances. Only some full built-in dishwashers can wash more at a time. At the same time, the dimensions of the Electrolux ESI 8550 are standard: 82x60x58 cm.

The working chamber of the dishwasher is equipped with a third pull-out basket designed for cutlery. This design solution leaves more space in the main boxes for plates and other kitchen utensils.

Electrolux ESI 8550 users have access to six wash programs. In automatic mode, the purity sensor “tells” the automation all the main parameters. Electrolux ESI 8550 supports the conditioning type of drying, which is traditionally considered not the most effective. But thanks to AirDry technology, the quality of removing residual water and moisture from dishes is improved. After washing, the dishwasher door opens automatically by 10 cm, which contributes to natural ventilation and high-quality drying without streaks.

The dishwasher consumes resources economically: it requires from 11 liters of water and 0.86 kW of electricity per cycle. According to the latter indicator, the model belongs to the highest energy class A+++.

The disadvantages of the Electrolux ESI 8550 include a rather high cost, but considering all the advantages, it looks like a fair price for such a roomy, functional and economical device.
