Despite the relatively low price, the device meets all the requirements that are put forward for devices of this class. It not only has the maximum pressure (120 bar) and productivity (360 L / h) necessary for high-quality car care, but is also equipped with a metal pump, which increases the service life compared to plastic counterparts.

Compact and lightweight (5.53 kg), the device is equipped with a minimum set of nozzles and accessories on quick-release bayonet connections: a 5-metre high-pressure hose, a washing gun with an extension tube, a triple nozzle for adjusting the strength and shape of the jet (fan and point modes, low pressure ), as well as a water filter. All removable parts of the device for transportation can be fixed on the body of the minisink, and the high-pressure hose can be fixed in special grooves on the folding handle.

The problem faced by the owners of mini-washes is the need to draw water from external containers, and not from the water supply. Devices designed to operate in such conditions must have a self-priming function. And although this mini-sink does not have such a function, it can be used if water is supplied by gravity by placing a water tank above the mini-sink. However, please note that in this case the manufacturer does not guarantee the claimed outlet pressure.

If we talk about the reviews of the owners of such mini-washes, they are mostly positive. Her one good minisink of medium power (1500 W), which the manufacturer positions as optimal in terms of price and quality. Black & Decker at a moderate cost creates a maximum pressure of 120 bar and has a capacity of 350 L / h. Similar to the previous model, this mini-sink is equipped with the “auto-stop” function and there is also no self-priming function here, although it is possible to arrange water supply by gravity.

The Black&Decker PW 1500 SP package is larger than in the previous case. It includes a filter for water purification and a set of nozzles: fan and mud, as well as a washing brush and a nozzle with a container for detergent (foam nozzle). All removable parts of the mini-sink, as well as the high-pressure hose (5.5 m), when folded, are attached to the rear panel. It should be noted that the quality of the foam nozzle is criticized by the owners. It does not perform the function of foaming, but simply mixes water with shampoo and the output is not foam, but soapy water. Therefore, it is advisable to purchase a foaming agent from another manufacturer.

The peculiarity of using the Black & Decker PW 1500 SP without plumbing is that the pump must first be pumped. To do this, you can put the sink with the suction hole up and connect the filled hose with a 2-liter plastic container of water screwed onto it. Next, you need to turn the container over, turn on the washing gun and wait until it is empty and shrinks from the pressure of the pump. When the pumped sink is ready for use, it must be connected to a water source and the inlet pressure monitored, otherwise the entire pump pumping operation will need to be repeated again.

The efficiency of the miniwash is determined not only by the maximum working pressure, but also by the performance of the device. And if the Makita HW112 does not exceed the two previous models in terms of the first parameter, then the performance of this mini-wash (370 L / h) is higher than that of Bosch AQT 35-12 and Black & Decker PW 1500 SP. Accordingly, it has both higher power consumption — 1600 W, and a total resource. In terms of functionality, the Makita HW112 minisink does not fundamentally differ from the previously described models.

There is also no self-priming function here, although it is allowed to work when water is supplied by gravity (for this you need to pump the pump manually), there is an auto-stop automatic shutdown system. The kit includes a washing brush, a swivel nozzle and a nozzle for car shampoo (for a more economical use of detergent, you can buy an additional foam nozzle).

Among the reviews on the Makita HW112, there are comments regarding the quality of the washing gun, which, with prolonged use, may fail in the first place, but this is not a mass phenomenon.

The weight (14.1 kg) of the minisink is more significant compared to previous models due to the fact that this unit has a built-in drum for winding a reinforced high-pressure hose 5.5 m long. Fundamentally, Karcher K5 Compact Car differs from other review devices in the presence of a self-priming function. There should be no problems with the operation of a high-quality aluminium pump when drawing water from a canister or tank, but to be sure, you can buy a suction hose with a check valve. In this case, the manufacturer guarantees the maximum outlet pressure.

Of the minor disadvantages noted by the owners of this unit, one can single out insufficiently strong water pressure on a standard nozzle (a mud cutter gives the maximum). They also advise buying an additional professional nozzle to create foam — this will not only facilitate and speed up car maintenance, but also reduce the consumption of detergent.

The kit includes a washing gun, an 8-metre high-pressure hose with quick-release connectors, a special Vario Power tube with the ability to adjust the water pressure and a cutter to remove heavy dirt. For storage of nozzles on the case clamps are provided. Also included is a rotating washing brush, a foam gun and even a liter of detergent with a car wipe to wipe surfaces. The water pump as well as the detergent supply hose are protected by pre-filters.
