In this table, you can compare the technical characteristics of coolers from the review, and choose a model yourself - in the section of cooling systems.

Fits into slim PC case, only 45mm high, compatible with Intel and AMD.
The heat sink is only 100 watts.

be quiet! Pure Rock LP is a low profile CPU cooler that is jokingly called a pancake. Its height is 45 mm, which roughly corresponds to the boxed coolers Intel Laminar RM1 and AMD Wraith Stealth. At the same time, the creation of be quiet! much more efficient: instead of the typical 65 watts of heat, the entire 100 watts can be dissipated.

Three copper heat pipes 6 mm in diameter pass through the aluminium fins. They contact the processor through the heat spreader plate. Pure Rock LP is installed on all current processor sockets: Intel LGA 1700, LGA 1200, AMD AM4 and AM5. While many other low-profile coolers are sharpened strictly for a specific socket.

be quiet! also low-profile - only 15 mm high, which is about twice as thin as usual. The impeller diameter is 92 mm, the rotation speed is up to 2500 rpm, the bearing is threaded, the uptime is up to 80 thousand hours. The cooler is mounted using a miniature wrench, which is supplied in the kit.

Moderate height 155mm, four copper heat pipes, 12cm fan.
Not everyone will like the direct contact of the tubes.

2E Gaming Air Cool ACN120-S is an air cooler from a young Ukrainian brand. Made in the best traditions of vertical towers: aluminium fins, four copper heat pipes and a large fan. The tubes are painted black, which adds style and protects the copper from corrosion. The contact of the tubes with the processor cover is direct.

This is better for single-chip chips, but slightly worse for multi-chiplet designs. However, the difference is only a couple of degrees Celsius. Even the latest sockets are supported: Intel LGA 1700 and AMD AM5. The fan diameter is 12 cm, which is the industry standard. Larger towers no longer fit in all computer cases.

The bearing is hydro-static, which is less durable than hydro-dynamic, but still much better than a conventional bush. The rotation speed varies from 700 to 1800 rpm. The fan frame is equipped with soft dampers to reduce vibration. The heat sink is declared at the level of 180 W, which allows you to even experiment with overclocking.

Two fans with FDB-bearing, five heat pipes, height 150 mm.
If you are a fan of RGB lighting.

Xilence M705D is a single-tower and dual-fan cooler with a 220W heatsink. Models with TDP over 200 W are called supercoolers. It weighs almost 700 g, which is explained by thick fins and five heat pipes. The contact of the tubes is straight, but they are perfectly aligned and ground, so there is no need for a distribution plate.

A pair of complete fans with a diameter of 12 cm rotates at speeds from 700 to 1600 rpm. Don't forget to include a Y-splitter to connect two fans to one PWM header on the motherboard. The bearing is made using FDB (Fluid Dynamic Bearing) technology, that is, the most durable hydro-dynamic bearing.

If you have a moderately hot processor, then you can set the two fans to a constant low speed. Thanks to this, the computer will become almost silent. Or install one of the turntables as a cabinet one, to blow hot air out. Or use only one fan, and after a few years, replace it with a spare.

Water block 240 mm, white color, swivel pump, RGB controller.
There is no refueling option.

Zalman ALPHA 24 White is a liquid cooling system that is best suited for CPUs with a chiplet architecture. Inside the heat distribution plate there are many microchannels that evenly take heat. And the pump is divided into three separate refrigerant streams, which reduces internal pressure.

The fittings can be rotated to either side for a neat fit inside the PC case. But the pump must be below the water block, otherwise air bubbles may occur inside the circuit. The pump is decorated with a round perforated lid with illumination a la disco balls. Comes with an RGB controller.

Or the backlight can be synchronized with the motherboard so that the dropsy glows in unison with other PC components. Synchronization is officially supported by ASUS Aura, MSI Mystic, Gigabyte Fusion, ASRock Polychrome, and unofficially also by Biostar Vivid. In addition to the white color, there is also a conservative black version.

Xeon and Threadripper support, one common turntable cable, 5 year warranty.
Pump speed not adjustable.

Deepcool LS520 is a series of processor drops from 120 to 360 mm. Perhaps the most versatile format is 240 mm. It is already significantly more efficient than air coolers, but it fits in almost any PC case, on the top or front panel. Both the pump and a pair of complete 12 cm fans are adorned with backlighting.

By the way, this is the fourth iteration of the Deepcool branded pump with a three-phase electric motor, a fixed rotation speed of 3100 rpm and an increased number of microchannels for the refrigerant. The speed of the turntables is automatically adjusted from 500 to 2250 rpm, depending on the temperature of the processor.

The bearings of the fans are hydrodynamic with a MTBF of up to 50 thousand hours, and the pump has ceramic bearings that are not afraid of moisture and, accordingly, corrosion. In addition to LGA 1700, LGA 1200, AM5 and AM4 desktop sockets, Intel Xeon and AMD Threadripper workstation processors are also supported. Extended warranty up to five years.
