Simple, comfortable, suitable for beginners and lovers of quiet driving — this device is designed only for moving on flat roads without any extreme. For long-distance trips, city bikes are also not too well suited.

Ardis Lybid 26D is designed for an adult age group, but it can also be suitable for tall teenagers. The frame is made of aluminium alloy. In the absence of depreciation in this model, this is rather a disadvantage. The cyclist in this case feels very well all the holes and bumps on the road. However, there are also advantages — due to this combination, simplicity of design and low weight of the product are achieved. For a women's bike, the last criterion is quite important.

The numbers in the bike's name mean that it belongs to this year's collection. Like the previous model, this ladies' bike is designed for movement within the city.

The frame size is 18’, which corresponds to the average height of a cyclist. In general, this factor is very approximate, and it is better to choose the size either immediately before buying, or using a special table — in the case of an online purchase.

The bicycle frame is steel. This material is inexpensive and does not require costly repairs. Another positive quality is that steel dampens vibrations created by a bicycle without shock absorption quite well. On the other hand, steel is relatively fragile, prone to corrosion and a bicycle with such a frame will be quite weighty. The double rims are made of aluminium; the rear brake is of the pedal type.

The wheel system (otherwise — the carriage) of the bicycle includes one gear ("star"). These parts are needed to transfer movement to the chain, and from it to the rear wheel. The bicycle cassette (a set of gears attached to the bushing) is also equipped with one star. However, there is no need for a single-speed city bike anymore.

The city bike has a universal aluminium alloy frame. The frame size is 17", that is, for a height of up to 170 cm. This two-wheeled friend is perfect for walking within the city or on the hard dirt roads of the countryside.

The bike is equipped pretty well. The diameter of the wheels is 26". Both the front and rear brakes are of the same design — rim mechanical. They are designed so that when the handle is pressed, the brake pads are pressed against the rim and thereby stop the movement. Brakes of this type are easy to operate, low price and interchangeability of parts. However, there are disadvantages — since the pads and rims wear out a lot, you will need to adjust the system. Also, brakes of this type are sensitive to pollution and glaciation, due to which their efficiency becomes lower.

The Avanti Omega has 18 gears, which will allow you to optimally adjust the bike to the features of various trails. For example, on a flat road it is good to drive in high gear, and when climbing uphill — on a lower one. The system is equipped with six stars, and the cassette is equipped with six. Manettes — devices responsible for shifting gears — are in this pin-type bike. They are designed in such a way that a cyclist does not need to take his hand off the steering wheel to switch speeds, it is enough to move it a little to the side. This ensures manoeuvrability and safety — after all, it takes considerable skill to control a bicycle with one hand. The model of the manette — Shimano SL-RS36 — is one of the most popular in women's bicycles of the basic level.

The bike is equipped with full-size mudguards, a boot for transporting small loads and a footrest.

Pride Classic 2015

This bike also comes from Ukraine, and is presented in two frame sizes — 16 and 18", that is, girls up to 175 cm tall can become its owners. The frame is aluminium, and the cushioning here is represented by a seatpost mechanism, which significantly reduces the discomfort of an uneven track.

The front brake in this bike is a mechanical rim brake, and the rear brake is a pedal brake. This combination is great for city walks, but completely incompatible with numerous speeds. Therefore, there are only three of them here, but for a device that is not designed for serious loads, more is not required. Separately, it should be noted the planetary bushing, in which the speeds are switched by a special mechanism. The type and model of the manettes match those of the previous model.

Another important thing is the angle of the steering wheel and its adjustment. In Pride Classic 2015, it is possible to adjust the angle of the take-out. The longer the steering wheel and fork, the more you have to lean back, and vice versa — a short steering wheel requires a forward tilt. The second option gives a greater speed of movement. The bike has included wings, a chain guard, a footrest and a bell.

Schwinn Fiesta 2015

This is the only American woman in our selection, which explains the amount on the price tag. Nevertheless, the bike is notable not only for this.

First of all, the appearance: retro design is very popular now. The frame and rims are made of aluminium. Seat cushion cushioning, wheel diameter — 26". There is only one brake here — the rear foot brake (pedal).

As in the case of the previous bike, the system in the Schwinn Fiesta 2015 is equipped with a Shimano Nexus planetary bushing with 3 gears, one connecting rod ("star"), and one cassette star. The type of manettes is pin. This combination is well suited for overcoming small obstacles and ascents, hard dirt roads and, of course, city walks. There is an adjustment of the level of the lift and the tilt of the steering wheel.
