Vitek VT-1826

The most affordable vacuum cleaner in our review is equipped with a bag for collecting dust — this category includes most models of the lower price range. Like other vacuum cleaners with a dust bag, the Philips FC8455 is easy to use and maintain. It is always ready for cleaning: you do not need to pour water into it, rinse and dry it after work.

Vacuum cleaners of this type also have disadvantages. Their suction power decreases as they fill with garbage, and cleaning a reusable bag is not the most pleasant activity. If the bag is replaceable, then you will have to look for spare parts in stores. However, the Philips FC8455 dust bag has an impressive volume of 3 liters, so it will not have to be changed often.

Philips FC8455 has a high power consumption – 2000 watts. However, the quality of cleaning is affected by a slightly different parameter – the suction power. It is at this mid–level model — 350 watts. However, in fact, according to user reviews, the vacuum cleaner brush at maximum power is difficult to tear off from the carpet on the floor. At the same time, the vacuum cleaner weighs relatively little – 4.2 kg.

Philips FC8455 is equipped with a long handle that simplifies cleaning in hard-to-reach places. The very light aluminium telescopic tube of the vacuum cleaner consists of two parts — if necessary, its length can be easily adjusted. Included with the vacuum cleaner is an additional turbo brush that collects animal hair and fur well — an important accessory for pet owners. In general, taking into account the price, this is a good candidate for purchase.

High suction power, turbo brush included, fine air filter at the outlet, no need to look for replacement garbage bags.

The dust collector and turbo brush are not very convenient to clean, the container and filters must be washed regularly.

Redmond RV-C316

Vitek VT-1826 represents a category of models with the cyclone system — more powerful and efficient compared to classic vacuum cleaners with dust bags. The model is equipped with a container in which garbage and dust are collected and rammed into one lump thanks to a cyclone filtration system. At the same time, the suction power does not decrease as the dust collector is filled, as in models with a bag. To clean the container after cleaning, you need to take it out of the vacuum cleaner and get out the garbage.

In their reviews, the owners of this vacuum cleaner note that this solution is not implemented in the most convenient way: the lid of the container is not completely removed, and the garbage has to be shaken out of it. If the container is not released in time, then after the next cleaning, the dust may get into too big a lump, which will have to be removed from the container by hand. At the same time, there is contact with dust, which is not hygienic.

The suction power of the Vitek VT-1826 is very high – 450 watts. It shows itself especially well when cleaning with a turbo brush , inside which a roller with bristles rotates. According to user reviews, after such cleaning, even the old carpet looks like new. However, the turbo brush needs to be cleaned periodically, and it is disassembled with a screwdriver. It is worth noting that the power cord of the vacuum cleaner is too short (5 metres), which also does not add convenience when cleaning.

Another feature of vacuum cleaners with the cyclone system, including Vitek VT-1826, is that their container and filters must be washed and dried regularly. Vacuum cleaners with a dust bag do not require such hassle. But the vacuum cleaner is equipped with a fine HEPA filter, which captures the smallest dust particles and allergens in the air coming out of the vacuum cleaner. Bag models have such a useful option also occurs , but not at all.

High suction power, compact, HEPA filter, no need to look for replaceable dust bags.

Hard hose, noisy motor, container and filters must be washed regularly.

Philips PowerLife FC 8455

The second bagless vacuum cleaner in our review also uses a cyclone system that provides constant suction power throughout the entire cleaning. A regulator is provided on the body of the vacuum cleaner, which allows you to choose the optimal suction power: from the maximum for thorough carpet cleaning to the minimum, suitable for gentle cleaning of interior items (curtains, lampshades, etc.).

The container of the vacuum cleaner is transparent – it is clearly visible when it is filled. Regarding the ease of its cleaning, the opinions of the owners differ, the only thing that is clear is that you need to get used to the design of the container. The vacuum cleaner is compact and lightweight, it is convenient to move it around the apartment. One of the advantages can also be noted HEPA filter for fine air purification at the outlet. It traps the smallest dust particles that can cause allergic reactions.

According to user reviews, the vacuum cleaner cleans carpets perfectly, although when working at full power it works quite noisily. As for the disadvantages, here the owners of the Redmond RV-C316 also name the excessive rigidity of the hose, which does not bend during cleaning, but "breaks", which is why the power drops and it has to be straightened.

High suction power, fine air filter at the outlet, easy disassembly for cleaning filters and container, smooth start of the engine, no need for replacement bags.

The tube does not fold, the vacuum cleaner "magnetizes" the dust on itself, the container and filters should be washed.

Philips PowerPro Compact FC 8471

Philips FC8471 is another vacuum cleaner with a cyclone system. During cleaning, dust and dirt particles are separated from the air flow due to rapid air circulation and settle in the dust collector container of the vacuum cleaner with a capacity of 1.5 liters. It is easy to clean the container — it is removed from the case with a light movement of the hand. And thanks to a special design with smoothed edges, dust accumulates on one side of the container and is easily dumped into the trash without forming a dust cloud.

The air coming out of the vacuum cleaner cleans the HEPA filter from dust and microscopic particles. It is also pleasing to have a soft start function: when the vacuum cleaner engine is turned on, it accelerates gradually, avoiding excessive load . Among the disadvantages of the model, users note a stiff hose and a tube that does not fold and requires more storage space. In addition, when working, the vacuum cleaner "magnetizes" dust on itself due to an electrostatic charge.

The claimed suction power of Philips FC8471, it would seem, is small — 330 watts. However, judging by user reviews, in fact this does not cause complaints: at full power, the brush almost "sticks" to the linoleum. Please note that the owners of Philips FC8471 advise to wash the filters of the vacuum cleaner at least after every second cleaning (and preferably after each one), and then dry thoroughly. Otherwise, the suction force is noticeably reduced.

High suction power, bag filling indicator, control on the handle, fine air filter at the outlet, dust does not "magnetize" to the body.

Noisy operation at maximum power, relatively heavy weight.

Samsung SC-5491

The Samsung SC-5491 vacuum cleaner, the most expensive in our selection, has the highest claimed suction power — 460 watts. As users note, at full power, the vacuum cleaner really literally "sticks" to the floor. However, a powerful engine has its disadvantage — a high noise level. However, the manufacturer also provides for medium and minimum power levels, at which the vacuum cleaner does not work so noisily.

The model is equipped with a 2.4 liter dust bag (this is not the largest volume). When it is filled , a lamp turns on on the body of the vacuum cleaner, which warns that you need to stop cleaning and clean the bag. The HEPA filter, in turn, captures dust microparticles and other allergens at the outlet of the vacuum cleaner.

Samsung SC-5491 is the heaviest in our review (5.6 kg), but at the same time it remains quite compact and convenient to use. Additional convenience during cleaning is provided by an elastic hose that can rotate 360 degrees. The remote control on the hose handle allows you to change the operating modes of the vacuum cleaner without bending over. Also, users praise the plastic, and which the body of the vacuum cleaner is made of: it is not marky and dust does not stick to it.
