Equipment of such a class as AL-KO SUB 6500 Classic should be used to solve relatively simple tasks related to watering areas in a country house or near a private house. This pump has a centrifugal principle of operation. With a small 250 W motor, it can lift water from a depth of up to 5 m and create a pressure of up to 6 m. That is, when taking liquid from a shallow reservoir or a well with a high water level, the pump handles well with creating the pressure necessary for irrigation. And if the water in the well is below 5 – 6 rings, then this pump will no longer pull.

Design and equipment features

The body of the device is made of durable plastic. It can be immersed not only in clean and rain water, but also in liquids with a small concentration of chlorine (for example, when draining swimming pools). This pump simply "does not digest" sand and particles larger than two or three millimetres, so it should not be lowered to the very bottom of the well or placed in a muddy pond without a stand. The device is equipped with protection against dry running and overheating, which ensures a long service life and trouble-free operation. The outlet has a diameter of 1 1/4", but the combination nipple allows you to connect smaller hoses.

Low price but good warranty

This pump costs quite a bit — less than $65. Even pensioners and economical summer residents can afford such an "assistant" for watering the garden.
