A relatively inexpensive Full HD gaming monitor from the AOC brand is a thin-bezel 24-inch model with versatile makings. First of all, gamers with a limited budget should take a closer look at it, but it may also be of interest to office workers or even those who are engaged in photo processing and other graphics at an amateur level. So, really good color rendering of the display is confirmed by excellent color gamut, including coverage of 96% of NTSC space and 126% of sRGB.
The AOC 24G2SU monitor is based on a VA matrix with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels. The picture on the screen is characterized by a cool contrast ratio (3000:1) and decent brightness settings (350 cd/m²). The gaming status is mainly emphasized by the high refresh rate (165 Hz) and the short response time (up to 4 ms from gray to gray). AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible video synchronization technologies are also implemented here, there are popular gaming options, such as Shadow Control for highlighting dark areas of the frame. The model is notable for the presence of built-in speakers (a pair of 2 W each), four USB ports with fast charging function, and an ergonomic stand. The latter makes it possible to adjust the height, rotate or even switch the display to portrait mode.
