The lineup of 15.3-inch laptops in the Air series by Apple from 2024 combines versatile portable PCs with passive cooling and high autonomy. The models are positioned in the advanced and high-end price segment, making them suitable for office work, business, education, as well as professional use. One of the main features of the series is the proprietary mobile processor M3, which boasts a performance increase compared to earlier engines (up to 20% compared to M2 and up to 60% compared to M1).

The Apple MacBook Air 15 2024 laptops feature a thin aluminum body (12 mm), with at least 50% made from recycled materials. They utilize a Liquid Retina display with a standard refresh rate of 60 Hz, resolution of 2880x1864 pixels, and a peak brightness of 500 nits (automatically adjusted by the built-in light sensor). Other hardware highlights include at least 8 GB of RAM, a solid-state drive starting at 256 GB (and up to 2 TB in higher configurations), and an integrated M2 10-Core GPU supporting ProRes and ProRes RAW.

There is also a sound system with 6 speakers and a Dolby Atmos decoder. An additional advantage of the models is impressive autonomy of up to 18 hours, with the battery supporting fast charging and powering of USB C connected devices (Power Delivery feature). The interface set is also excellent, including a couple of USB4 ports and a Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) wireless module. Notable "Apple" features include the FaceTime webcam, Touch ID fingerprint scanner, Force Touch trackpad, white keyboard backlighting, the MagSafe 3 charging port, and the pre-installed MacOS Sonoma.
