The motherboard was purchased for an Intel Core i3-10300 processor. A budget board for a budget CPU. It is not worth installing expensive high-end processors because it will overheat, as I have already experienced 80+ degrees. In terms of power delivery, it is equipped with a decent 8-phase power subsystem for the processor (6+2) with an additional aluminum heatsink, but the heatsink is poorly attached and can be tilted with a finger, exposing the MOSFETs. The PCI slots are not reinforced with metal. The m2 is universal, accommodating both short and long drives. A tower with 2 fans was installed on the processor, although I'm not sure why, but the client for whom the PC was assembled requested it. Fortunately, the motherboard has 2 connectors (CPU-Fan 1 and CPU Fan-2). By the way, there is the possibility of flexible fan settings in the BIOS, which is quite important... Formally, Asus PRIME B460-PLUS supports all existing Comet Lake processors up to Core i9.
